🌞The sun’s been shining inside and out Oakley Grange, from summer - inspired textured art at our weekly Art Club and celebrating with a homemade biscuit baking session, to a spot of pampering, summertime tunes and a good old game of scrabble, there’s been something for everyone to enjoy.

📣 Announcing the launch of our very own IMMERSIVE Midweek Movie, a monthly dementia friendly screening with a twist! 📣

📽️First Wednesday of the month
📆Launching on 4th June
⏰ 2.30pm
📍Oakley Grange Care Home

We invite those living with the dementia in our local community along with a plus one to join our memory care residents and their families to watch the classic film, . 🎬

You can look forward to a truly nostalgic trip down memory lane with a fully immersive cinema experience. From being issued a ticket on arrival, traditional movie snacks served by an usherette and vintage film memorabilia, it promises to be a truly memorable afternoon!🎞️🍿

As the heatwave continues it’s important that our residents, team and visitors all keep hydrated and cool. 😎

That’s why our refreshing in our Piano Bar serves up our kitchen team’s fresh fruit infused sparking water each day, with an ever changing recipe throughout the week. 💦

And of course, no sunny day is complete without ice cream and we’re blessed to also be able to enjoy delicious homemade gelato from our friends next door at the award winning Harbury Catch! 🍧

With sun hats and sun screen at the ready, we’ve got another great week ahead of us as we keep cool and enjoy the sunshine.🌞

We’ve enjoyed a magical week at Oakley Grange by making another of our lovely resident’s wishes come true ♥️ and sprinkling a touch of cinnamon 💫

Much loved Maureen was a Brown Owl at and has spent many wonderful moments sharing her stories with us. So it’s been an absolute privilege for us to work hard behind the scenes with Maureen’s daughter Carol and 1st Warwick Gates Brownies to make Maureen’s dreams come true and spend an evening reminiscing about her time as a Brown Owl 🦉 back in the the 80’s and sharing what it’s like to be a Brownie in 2026 🤎

We’ve enjoyed a day full of positive pedal power here at Oakley Grange Care Home as we took part in in aid of SWFT Charity, to help raise funds for this important local charity which supports NHS hospitals in South Warwickshire.

There's still time to donate thoughout May, so why not pop in and make a donation at our reception where our collection tin is located 💸We’ll even treat you to a complimentary brew and homemade cake or bake as our way of saying thank you 🙏

This we’re shining a light on those extra special touches our home has which enriches the lives of those residents living with dementia 💡

One of these features is our fashion inspired corridor which helps residents navigate their way around the floor, spark reminiscence and conversation and, perhaps most important of all, FUN times together! ♥️ 👒👏
