We are excited to announce the launch of our new monthly community singing group, Local Vocals, in collaboration with Armonico Consort 🎶

📅Third Monday of the month, commencing on January 19th
🕰️11.00am – 12.00pm
📍Oakley Grange Care Home
☕Complimentary refreshements will be provided

Open to all, this promises to be an inclusive and open group for all skill levels to enjoy singing together, focusing on singing for pleasure and connection, where everyone is welcome, from beginners to experienced singers. All voices are welcomed; there is no audition and no hierarchy of voice. 🙂

Our singing group will be led by a professional conductor who will provide all music, lyric sheets, percussion etc. and be accompanied by a pianist. The ability to sing is not required just the desire to have fun! 🎤🎼🎹

Earlier this week we were delighted to launch Social Circles, a new weekly home-from-home day opportunity designed especially for older adults, in partnership with GoodOaks Homecare - South Warwickshire. 💚

Social Circles takes place every Tuesday 10.00am – 2.00pm here at Oakley Grange Care Home and participants can look forward to complimentary travel to and from Oakley Grange, engaging activities and a delicious two course home-cooked lunch. 🍛🍨☕

If you are the main carer of a loved one and looking for a well-deserved break, this friendly social group offers the opportunity for you to recharge your batteries or run a few errands, whilst they connect with old friends and new!😀

We're looking for stallholders to join us at our Spring Fair in aid of SWFT Charity!

This afternoon we enjoyed a relax yoga session with Tracey, which had us smiling through every stretch 😃

Yoga is all about relieving tension, boosting mood and releasing feel-good endorphins and today’s session did just that 🧘🏻‍♂️

🎄🎅 Santa Causes Mischief at Oakley Grange! 🎅🎄

Our Home Manager Pam welcomed some very special (and slightly mischievous!) visitors to Oakley Grange today when Santa popped in with his cheeky Elf in tow. 🎁😄

They delivered Christmas gifts to our wonderful residents, spreading smiles, laughter, and plenty of festive cheer, the Elf certainly kept everyone entertained! ✨🤭

Before we could offer Santa a cup of tea, he was off again, apparently this time of year is quite busy for gift deliveries! Thank you for the magic, Santa, you certainly sleighed it! 🎄❤️
