As the nights get lighter and the weather forecast promises sun (eventually!), it’s officially time to trade our chunky knits and cosy slippers for summer dresses and sandals!

But before you cram your winter wardrobe away or just wonder why our drawers are bursting full, remember that proper storage is the secret to keeping your clothes in pristine condition until next winter.

Sentimental items are the ultimate decluttering nemisis.

Whether it's baby clothes, inherited china, or old letters, these pieces carry a heavy mental load.

In my popular blog post, I share how to navigate these emotions so you can create a home that has Room to Breathe.

Check it out at the linktree in my bio!

Laundry - a thousand loads a week doesn't seem to cut it. Or if you've been productive and done the washing then there is still the folding and (officially the worst bit) the putting away - snooze!

Sunday is the day to get this done. Stick a film on for a bit of calm in the day or do it with music and get the clothes folded and put away.

Many hands make light work, so try and get all able people in your home to put their own stuff away.

(You may have noticed I missed off ironing as I gave this up for the most part during 2020 but if this is your bag, Sunday is a great day for this too!)

Are you an ironer or not? Do you iron bedding? Tell me all in the comments!

Whats for dinner?

If I could pick one thing to not have to do EVERY GODDAMN EVENING, it would be organise and cook dinner. The absolute mundanity of it all makes me want to drive off a cliff sometimes! (Tell me I'm not alone??!)

To counteract some of this doom, I always try to meal plan on a Sunday so I (and the rest of the family) know what we're eating and it is then easier to shop for food too.

It doesn't necessarily mean anyone else will offer to cook the meals but baby steps hey?

Who cooks in your house and drop me some easy weekday meals below!
