I cannot emphasise this enough, healthy boundaries are a form of self-care!

Whether it’s in our personal or professional relationships they are a necessary guiding light for not just ourselves but other people to know what is and what is not acceptable.

Ultimately learning to set healthy boundaries is necessary in preventing burn out, feeling taken advantage of & feeling angry about it and of course reducing stress.

I haven’t introduced myself for a little while so here’s a bit about me…

I’m Holly and I help you to reduce anxiety and overcome depression.

I run Happy Healthy CBT, a private cognitive behavioural therapy practice, and I teach mindfulness in a relatable and down to earth way.

I live in South Warwickshire and have two Rhodesian Ridgebacks who I love exploring with. They also seem to enjoy listening to my guided meditations.

I love gluten free Chinese food and white reeses peanut butter cups, hate salmon and sci-fi films. I’m partial to basking in the sun, a road trip to somewhere new and a show tunes playlist.

To unwind I refurbish old furniture, sew soft furnishings and lift weights.

BIG NEWS! My next Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy course is confirmed.. and it will be live!

I’m super excited to announce that I will be running a face to face course starting on Thursday 19th January 2023 at

🍃 Running for 8 weeks, 10am - 12pm every Thursday following a format proven to reduce anxiety, depression, general stress and low mood as well as so many other health benefits!

🍃 The course also includes a 5 hour retreat day where we expand on familiar meditations as well as experience new, in silence, to let the deeper learning really unfold.

🍃 The course is suitable for those who have some experience of mindfulness through to those who have never tried any form of meditation before but are looking for a way to reduce stress and increase wellbeing.

Have you even thought about it before?
Non-negotiable means not open for debate or modification. It’s something I mentioned on the Financial Wellness call Monday evening and a client asked me about in a session so I thought I’d share a few of mine.

No matter what’s going on, I do not sacrifice these few things, as I have come to realise that they’re imperative for keeping my own mental health healthy!

Your non negotiables should reflect your values and goals and need to be prioritised in order to feel what you need to feel and as best you can, live the life that you want to lead.

Joint myself and this evening as we discuss all thing financial well-being.

Cara and I have known each other for about 5 years now and we have often said how we’d love to combine our knowledge of mental health and financial planning to supports other people.

In the past few years so many have struggled mentally and financially and unfortunately things seem to be getting worse, and we want to help!

We won’t be scaremongering or doom and gloom’in but instead offering practical steps that you can take to take to reduce financial anxiety in the here and now and be better prepared for the future.

The past few years have been tough on so many people mentally and financially and unfortunately things seem to be getting worse and we want to help.

We won’t be scaremongering or doom and gloom’in about the future but instead giving you some solid steps to take to help relieve that worry many are currently feeling.
