An article in The Guardian newspaper last week described how more and more young people are turning to Traditional Chinese Medicine, including acupuncture, Chinese herbs, nutrition, gua sha, cupping. They are gaining a deeper, intelligent understanding of its benefits and how it relates to the modern world.
It was really interesting to read how the younger generation are realising that health isn’t a quick fix, but about individual balance, lifestyle, nourishment and getting to the root cause of the problem, rather than using a sticking plaster or suppressing symptoms.
Acupuncture and Chinese medicine has been around for thousands of years and now a new generation is rediscovering this ancient wisdom.
