'Being'
Felt tip marker on graph paper.
May '26
3 fish, swimming left to right. One to lead direction and pierce the water, one to keep the stream stable and one to close the movement off and give it coherence.
Describing the act of "being" as necessarily going through these three fundamental phases. Reminding us that all action (individual or group) relies on an effective team that has all 3 among them, and to deploy them in the sequence that makes them the action it becomes.
Situational awareness and adaptation, internally as well as socially.
The value of the individual, group, balance and action.
Balance in action, action in balance. Cyclical yet linear. This drawing describes how duality drives waves, become movement and come to rest over time, leaving behind progress of sorts. Its meaning derived or intrinsic, depending on the culture of the observer.
Drawn in a framework of circles, the felt tip hand draws unexpected shapes. Their error, creates an asymmetry that draws the eye to new shapes and visions of faces looking at us from multiple angles. As if from a visual gateway, reflecting back our evaluation of it.
