Today Hazel from Homestead delivered a Scam Awareness Talk, discussing the growing risks of postal scams, telephone scams, and email scams affecting older members of our community.

The average age of people targeted by scammers is 74, making awareness and prevention more important than ever. We spoke about how to recognise warning signs, protect personal information, and report suspicious activity.

Today our home buzzed with excitement as we celebrated World Bee Day! We enjoyed a delicious bee inspired cake made by our chef, followed by an engaging talk from Judith Mason of the Bee Keepers Association
Judith bought us life-sized models of the bees so we could appreciate the Queens size compared to the other bees
