Good Friday Fun for Easter with the juniors at Pottergate Golf Club🐣

13 juniors took part in our morning coaching activities followed by the Easter Junior Bash in the afternoon.

🥚A game of ‘Splat’ - we bashed hard boiled eggs with golf clubs; 1 adult & 1 junior splatted the surprise non-hard boiled eggs!

🌷 Spring has officially arrived for the Pottergate Golf Club Juniors!

On Saturday, our young golfers kicked off the journey towards the 2026 season with a focused short‑game strategy session led by Coach Ali Curran ⛳️

The group explored green‑reading, aim, landing zones, and how to select the right club for a variety of chip shots. They also worked on decision‑making, shot creativity, and maintaining concentration & focus - all essential ingredients for confident scoring around the green.

A huge thank you to Ali for an engaging and insightful session. We’re excited to put these new skills into practice as we build momentum for the season ahead 🏌️‍♀️🏌🏻‍♂️

🌟That’s a wrap for the the Lincolnshire Junior Golf Winter Get Together Programme 2025/26! 🌟

The final event took place on Saturday at Pottergate Golf Club ⛳️

3️⃣2️⃣ Adults & Juniors rocked up for the finale - the Adult & Juniors Fun Pairs Scramble
🦆Activities included a Putting Competition, Chip a Duck challenge, & Raffle topped with refreshments provided by the Golf Club
🎁Prizes were sponsored by PING Golf Europe & The Golf Foundation, whilst everyone went home with a goodie!
🙏Amazing volunteer support from the Pottergate team, EBGF in addition to assistance from Young Leaders Freya & James
🌟A bonus £508 was raised for the Pottergate GC Junior Section from the raffle & donations

🥳The Winter Programme has seen great levels of engagement in the county with a total of 6️⃣3️⃣ juniors taking part, in addition to adult participants & families joining in the fun too!
6️⃣events between Oct-March ranged from Golf Courses, Indoor venues, Get Glowing Golf, Adventure Crazy Golf, Virtually Golf, Seasonal themes, Individual, Pairs & Team Challenges!

The 5️⃣th Lincolnshire Junior Golf Winter Programme event took place at Urban Putterz (The No Work Club) on Sunday!

🎉Lots of fun had by all on the crazy golf course - from ball pits to glow in the dark, vinyls to police cars!
🙌Keeping junior golfers from around the county engaged & together over the winter
🎁Every junior went away with a sweet treat & prizes for best scores

The final block of 25/26 Winter Intro & Learner Coaching has launched at Virtually Golf ⛳️

4️⃣weeks of sessions; 9th, 16th, 23rd Feb & 2nd March
🕰️6-6.55pm (Primary age), 7-7.55pm (Secondary age), 8-8.55pm (Women’s Group)
