So, if over the last couple of weeks you've noticed our staff getting creative with colouring, drawing, painting and not forgetting the MANY sprinkles of glitter ✨️

The reason is...we've been busy working on the latest Wellburn 365 competition. This time we had to make some bunting and it had to include lots of staff involvement, where we were all given a triangle of bunting that we had to decorate to show a little bit about us staff members. Our theme for this challenge was our ✨️St George's Care Home team!✨️ Each staff member's bunting has been decorated to show a little bit about what or who is important to us and things that we like! ❤️

Our bunting is on display in the main entrance, please take a look next time you visit and let us know what you think 😍🥰

We have had a lovely afternoon with a visit from Owl Adventures and their beautiful birds 🦉

We all enjoyed a hold of gorgeous Whisper the Owl and we enjoyed watching their Falcon swoop from chair to chair across the lounge 😊

What beautiful birds, we were all mesmerised and adored seeing them all 🦉 ❤️

What a fabulous few hours we have had at our Summer Fayre! Thank you so so much to everyone who came and we are so so grateful to all of you who have bought raffle tickets and all of the things we had for sale at the fayre. Thanks to you lovely people we have raised a HUGE £505.27p for our chosen charity partner The Little Onion Club 🎉🎉

To all of our staff, thank you all so much for your hard work everyday, and a special thank you for putting everything together, coming up with ideas to help make our fayre what it was today and for helping out on all the stalls and activities - we are so proud of our team at St George's and are grateful for the fabulous team we have 🥰

Lots of fun, family friendly activities available:

We enjoyed a visit from our creepy, crawly friends this afternoon! Resident's, staff and visitors were very brave and loved getting up close and personal to some of the wonderful creatures! 😊

Our youngest visitor of the day, Billy-Junior took it all in his stride and enjoyed watching them all, too! 🥰
