St Martins Care is proud to support the next cohort of North East Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust apprenticeship paramedics on placement across our six care homes!

This initiative has ensured every trainee paramedic within the NEAS apprenticeship programme spends meaningful time in a social care setting, gaining valuable experience and building a deeper understanding of our sector.

Remembrance Day is a national opportunity to remember the service and sacrifice of all those that have defended our freedoms and protected our way of life.

We unite across faiths, cultures and backgrounds to remember the service and sacrifice of the Armed Forces community from United Kingdom and the Commonwealth.

Residents and the team at Washington Manor created a beautiful display in the home for Remembrance Day.🍁

There are many benefits of arts and crafts including improving cognition, relives stress, supports communication and promotes self expression.

Residents of Washington Manor have been decorating poppy wreaths with various materials for Remembrance Day to honour service and sacrifice. 🍁
