Are you an experienced Optical Assistant looking for variety in your day-to-day role? Or perhaps you’re ready to take the next step in your optical career with a supportive, community-focused team?

We’re looking for a flexible and enthusiastic Optical Assistant (Float) to join our practices across Ely, Histon, Waterbeach, and Newmarket. You’ll be part of a passionate team that prides itself on providing exceptional patient care and top-quality optical services.

What you’ll be doing:
• Welcoming patients and delivering outstanding customer service
• Assisting with frame styling, lens choices and product
• Ensuring smooth running of the practice day-to-day
• Providing cover across multiple locations — no two days are the same!

🌟 What we’re looking for:
• Previous experience in optics (preferred, but full training can be provided)
• A people person with a friendly, can-do attitude
• Someone with a full drivers licence and access to a vehicle
• A team player who loves helping patients look and feel their best
