Join me on May 11th at 6-7pm for a birthday yoga session combined with a celebration of my first weekend of my YTT200 🥳🧘🏼‍♀️

There are 11 spots going and I’d love to spend the evening doing something I love with a great bunch of people!!

You can even wind down and stay on for a relaxing restorative yoga class starting after at 7:15, where we relax down into the bolsters and allow our nervous system to wind down.

Book online or message me on here to book your place!
There may even be something tasty afterwards! It’s at the lovely
Waterbeck Village Hall

In this week’s classes I got my class to try out a new mini flow. Inspired by Spring’s sun, it will leave us feeling full of energy.

I will be trying it out in this week’s chair yoga classes also, as I believe yoga should be accessible to all. Each of my sessions are tailored to be fully inclusive, regardless of your experience or ability.

I like to end my sessions with a calming guided meditation, so we leave the session centered, ready to take the energy on a journey further inward.

I’m really excited to teach this class ❤️🙏🧘🏼‍♀️

Thank you to everyone that came to practice with me this week, some new faces and lots of familiar ones too.

It’s an honour that you share your practice with me, so many of you have shared the ways in which yoga has helped you in various ways. It’s an honour that you return to join me 🥰 I’m looking at running a back to basics course of classes where we will focus on each asana (pose) checking in with the breath and ensuring that we feel confident in the transitions too.

Let me know if you are interested in this! Either in person, message or even email me! It’s not about how many advanced poses we can do, it’s all about the foundations that we can build on!

The only reason I’m coming out in this weather is to teach my Yoga classes! They always put a smile on my face and bring me so much joy to teach.

A huge thank you to everyone that has been to any of my classes this week. It’s so lovely to see both new and returning people each week.

Chair yoga is a more accessible form of yoga, allowing people of all abilities to practice. It is often slower paced and of course uses a chair and other props to enable people to enter into different poses.

Today’s class was healed in Eaglesfield Public Hall and we started by warming up all areas of the body, gradually building up some heat, then we practiced some Surya Namaskars (sun salutations) and then we did another sequence that focused on opening up the hips gently before a cool down, ending in a savasana and a guided meditation.

What is Restorative Yoga?

It is a gentle practice that uses props such as bolster cushions, blocks, straps and blankets to support us during positions that we hold for longer periods of time.

In taking our time mindfully, it helps to engage the parasympathetic nervous system, also referred to as the rest and digest system. It allows us to fully relax, digest food, lower our heart rate and slow our breathing down. This is vital in today’s world with the stresses that our mind and body are under.

Feel like that is something you could benefit from? Reach out for more information by messaging me on here or at 07969746618 or via www.hannahbryersyoga.co.uk to book onto Monday evenings class at Waterbeck Village Hall

See you there for a relaxing practice
