‘I cannot thank you enough for the care you gave my mother during the last two weeks of her life.

It was a big step when the community nurses said we needed professional carers as mum entered the final stages of life, having cared full time alone for sixteen months.

I was cautious of carers coming in but I needn’t have worried. Right from the initial meeting I was instantly at ease and throughout the final two weeks of mum’s life the team couldn’t have done more for mum and I, noticing the little things that meant so much without them being mentioned.

Thank you will never be enough. True angels in carers uniforms.’
