Popped out in Wellington Vale’s electric car for the most wholesome little country drive 🌿⚡️

Nothing beats cruising quietly through the lanes, taking in all the fresh air, rolling fields, and early signs of spring coming to life. It’s amazing how much you notice when you slow things down a bit 🌼

Finished things off with a quick trip to the shops to grab some bits for next week’s gardening plans — looking forward to getting stuck in and making the most of the season 🌱

Shirley is enjoying time tending to the flowers she has chosen outside her bedroom window with her daughter — continuing a hobby she loves with a little support and sharing meaningful moments with family 💛

We had another lovely Easter celebration at Wellington Vale, with children from our local community enjoying a fun scavenger hunt and getting creative with Easter crafts 🐣🎨

It was wonderful to welcome a younger generation into our home - events like this help build important connections with our neighbouring families and friends and always create plenty of smiles 🥰

Thank you to everyone who joined us especially Paulette Bennett and Anthony Berry for organising this annual event 🐰

On Easter Sunday at Wellington Vale,
A fluffy guest arrived without fail 🐰
With chocolate eggs tucked under each arm,
And a mischievous grin full of charm.

He bounced through the halls with a wiggle and hop,
Handing out treats that just wouldn’t stop 🍫
He danced with the staff, did a twirl or two,
And gave out hugs (and some kisses too!).

The residents laughed at his cheeky display,
As he bopped and boogied along the way 💃
But all that fun took quite a toll…
Even bunnies can run out of stroll!

Feeling sleepy, his energy fled,
So where did he go? Straight to Pat’s bed! 🛏️
He flopped with a sigh, ears all askew,
Dreaming of carrots and chocolate fondue.

So here’s to a day full of giggles and cheer,
With a bunny who visits just once a year 🐣
At Wellington Vale, the fun never ends—
Especially with bunnies… and fabulous friends!

There’s nothing quite like the smell of freshly baked hot cross buns filling the air at Wellington Vale today! 🍞✨

Our residents enjoyed a wonderful homemade treat, bringing everyone together to share stories, smiles, and a taste of tradition ahead of Easter.

We had so many fantastic entries in our Easter Colouring Competition – thank you to all the local pre-schools and nurseries that took part! 🌷✨

Our winners were randomly drawn by Paul, Wellington Vale’s Resident Ambassador.

🐣🌷 Easter Fun at Little Welly Tots! 🌷🐣

We had a lovely surprise today as the Easter Bunny visited our toddler and baby group, bringing lots of smiles and a fun Easter Egg Hunt! 🐰✨

The children had a fantastic time exploring and collecting eggs, while our residents enjoyed watching, joining in, and sharing the joy. 💛

Moments like this in our residential care home are so special — bringing generations together, boosting wellbeing, and creating meaningful connections for both young and old. 🌼
