*What is Hijama Wet Cupping?*
Hijama is a tradition of The Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) - a therapy that involves making superficial scratches on skin, creating suction with cups and a pump, and removing small amounts of blood from particular sites correlating to vital organs, hormone glands and traditionally recommended sites.

*Practising hijama in summer can offer specific benefits due to seasonal physiological changes:*

In summer, the body naturally sweats more, which supports detox processes.

Hijama can complement this by helping to remove "stagnant" or "impure" blood, especially as blood is thinner due to heat and increased circulation.

In preparation for the annual commemoration of _Arba'een_ - a muslim festival marking the tyranical injustice and opression towards Imam Hussain and his family, the grandson of Prophet Muhammad 1400 years ago, millions will be flocking to Iraq for a 75k pilgrimage walk from the city of Najaf to Kerbala this August.
