Hello, all!
Hope you had a great weekend.
We spent another joyful collective afternoon in Watford’s weekly meditation meeting! Join us..
Watford Central Library, Sunday 2-3:30pm

⬇️ Here is a recap of today’s session ⬇️

🌀LEFT CHANNEL = IDA NADI = YIN🌀

Also known as TAMO GUNA and the MOON CHANNEL, THE LEFT CHANNEL OF THE CENTRAL NERVOUS SYSTEM GOVERNS OUR DESIRES AND EMOTIONS AND CULMINATES WITH THE SUPEREGO AND CONDITIONINGS.
This channel can become blocked either by indulging in being over-emotional, easily sad and lethargic, or by shutting off our emotions entirely and being harsh with ourselves. By clearing our left channel we can experience absolute emotions such as unconditional love, peace and joy.

THE LEFT CHANNEL ALSO CORRESPONDS TO OUR RELATIONSHIP WITH OUR PAST. Negative emotions are often the result of subconsciously holding onto bad experiences which causes us to close our hearts and react negatively rather than treat the present situation with an open, clean heart. Therefore someone described as more left-sides typically dwells on the past, is overly sentimental and often feels easily down-hearted and unmotivated.
These left channel obstacles can be balanced in Sahaja Yoga using cleansing techniques such as the Three-Candle-Treatment, rising early in the morning to meditate and greet the sun, taking action without being overly active, and regularly joining the collective meditation programs.

“You have problems, that’s why you are here, but you cannot solve them, they are to be solved by the Divine power. This must be understood fully, that we cannot solve our problems. It is beyond us to solve our problems. So leave it in the hands of Divine power and expose yourself effortlessly, absolutely effortlessly. ”
SHRI MATAJI NIRMALA DEVI LONDON, ENGLAND

Meet our team!

Hello, all.
My name is Viktoria. I have been in Sahaja yoga meditation for 2 years.
Meditating daily has made such a great difference.. On the way I experience the world and my mental and physical health.
It removed depression and anxiety, and in exchange it gave me peace and satisfaction.
My relationship with the others and the world spontaneously improved.. the dark cloud hanging over my head lifted and I was able to finally see the light, experience the joy and love through the gentle nourishment of our Mother Kundalini!
So join us, experience the bliss!🌷

Hello, all!
Hope you had a great Easter!
We are back this Sunday in Watford Central Library for another joyful afternoon of collectivity!

Let’s Experience Self-Realisation together!

What is Sahaja yoga?
Sahaja Yoga is a method of meditation that takes you beyond mental, emotional, and physical activity and allows you to experience the true self which lies within. In Sanskrit, Sahaja means ‘born with’ ('Saha' is with, 'ja' is born), and Yoga means union. The name, therefore, translates to ‘the union which one is born with.’

This union is between your true self and the all-pervading power that permeates all elements of life. It is achieved through a process that awakens the dormant energy called Kundalini that within each human being. This process is known as Self Realisation. Once the Kundalini is awakened, the individual experiences a blissful state of thoughtless awareness, where the mind is silent and they simply witness the present moment.

Today in India is celebration of Birthday of Shri Hanuman.
Hanuman is a Hindu God and a divine vanara (either monkeys or the race of forest-dwelling people) companion of the god Rama. Hanuman is one of the central characters of the Hindu epic Ramayana. He is an ardent devotee of Rama. Shri Mataji taught that Shri Hanuman can give us discipline, balance and protect us from any problems. Artist is who is also practicing Sahaja-yoga.

Music can be both relaxing and gently stimulating, bringing us into balance and allowing our minds to go thoughtless! 🧘‍♀️
If you struggle to keep the attention clear, why not play the Raag below? 🎶

Comment down below and let us know how you feel!

How does meditation makes us creative people?
Swadistan-the second chakra is the center of creativity. When we receive our self-realisation this chakra is gently cleansed by our Mother Kundalini. By regular meditation we can feel spontaneous inspiration, desire to explore and create art, even discover skills which we never knew we had!
There are so many Sahaja yogies which received their Self-realisation and suddenly they found out their unique gifts such as singing, painting and dancing!

Shri Mataji talked about Music and Meditation many times but here is a short extract from an interview:

“Hashim: So would You consider that music has become part of the meditation like that?

Shri Mataji: Of course, very much. Music is, is a divine gift to human beings, it’s a divine gift. We call it, it starts with Omkara, means the first word as that was, you call as “logos”, you see. It starts with that. And that’s, that’s the proof of it. Because when they get their Realization, how is it they know such difficult language and such difficult tunes and so correctly that they can sing?

It’s very surprising. So music is a very inner part, dancing, music, all art is very much connected with the Divine.”

Did you know that the human subtle system is a vastly intricate one, made up of thousands of channels which carry energy throughout the body? The concentrations of the energy in the subtle system are called Chakras (‘wheels’ in Sanskrit), or energy centers.

The entire system is governed by three primary vertical channels of energy called ‘Nadis’ in Sanskrit and by seven main chakras. Through the Self Realisation process, our subtle system is fully activated with the awakening of the Kundalini , which cleans and balances the entire system and enlightens the pure qualities of the chakras within us.

“A recent study shows that long-term practice of Sahaja Yoga meditation is associated with larger grey matter volume overall, and with regional enlargement in several right hemispheric cortical and subcortical brain regions that are associated with sustained attention, self-control, compassion and interoceptive perception. The increased grey matter volume in these attention and self-control mediating regions suggests use-dependent enlargement with regular practice of this meditation.”

Many research papers as well as experiments have proven Sahaja Yoga to be very effective. Learn and understand how Sahaja Yoga can benefit you.
