How does meditation makes us creative people?
Swadistan-the second chakra is the center of creativity. When we receive our self-realisation this chakra is gently cleansed by our Mother Kundalini. By regular meditation we can feel spontaneous inspiration, desire to explore and create art, even discover skills which we never knew we had!
There are so many Sahaja yogies which received their Self-realisation and suddenly they found out their unique gifts such as singing, painting and dancing!
Shri Mataji talked about Music and Meditation many times but here is a short extract from an interview:
“Hashim: So would You consider that music has become part of the meditation like that?
Shri Mataji: Of course, very much. Music is, is a divine gift to human beings, it’s a divine gift. We call it, it starts with Omkara, means the first word as that was, you call as “logos”, you see. It starts with that. And that’s, that’s the proof of it. Because when they get their Realization, how is it they know such difficult language and such difficult tunes and so correctly that they can sing?
It’s very surprising. So music is a very inner part, dancing, music, all art is very much connected with the Divine.”
