Whether it’s coming back from a holiday or just a few days out of routine, getting back on track doesn’t have to be extreme.

These are the five simple things Rina comes back to movement, nourishment, hydration and fresh air. Nothing complicated, just small habits that help bring the body back into balance. Individually, they each make a difference. But together, they’re where the real shift happens. Your energy lifts, your body feels supported again and everything starts to feel a little more in sync. 🧘🏽

We’re growing our team!

We’re looking for a Mat Pilates Instructor to join our studio, someone who is passionate about movement, confident in their teaching and aligned with our calm, supportive and community led approach.

Our classes are small, personal and focused on helping people feel strong, supported and comfortable in their bodies, so we’re looking for someone who really cares about creating that kind of space.

If this sounds like you (or someone you know), we’d love to hear from you.

Please get in touch via DM or email Rina@yoganastics.co.uk to apply or find out more.

When your nervous system is stuck in stress mode, it shows up in ways you might not even realise, tight shoulders, shallow breathing, poor sleep, feeling constantly 'on'. And no amount of pushing through really fixes it.

That’s where yoga comes in. Not as another thing to achieve, but as a way to gently bring your body back into balance. Through slower movement, breath and a moment to pause, you start to give your body the signal that it’s safe to let go.

Over time, things begin to shift, your breathing deepens, tension softens, your mind feels clearer and your body starts to feel supported again. It’s not instant, but it is powerful. Sometimes the best thing you can do is slow down 🤍

I managed to step away from the studio for a much needed break over Easter.Running a business doesn’t always make that easy, and I could definitely feel burnout creeping in, so the timing of this trip couldn’t have been better.

Thailand is just one of those places, it’s not just a holiday, it’s a whole feeling. From the beaches and the buzz of the streets to the food, which was sooo good, it was exactly what I needed.

We did so much while we were there, visited an elephant sanctuary, practised at some beautiful yoga studios, watched a Muay Thai fight (and somehow ended up jumping into a few training sessions myself… slightly scary but made it through 😅), and even found a CrossFit box… training in that heat was no joke.

We were also lucky enough to experience Songkran, Thai New Year, which is basically the biggest water fight you’ll ever see, such a fun, chaotic experience.

But honestly, the best part was just slowing down. Spending proper time with family, switching off and resetting a little. And thank you so much for all the lovely messages while I was away, they really meant a lot. Feeling refreshed, recharged and very ready to be back. See you in the studio.

Just like that, we’re heading into April… and finally welcoming Spring with open arms.☁️

March has been another special month at the studio. So many familiar faces walking through the door each day, alongside lots of new ones finding us for the first time. That balance will never be something I take for granted.

It’s been a busy few months, both in the studio and at home. Running a business, being a mum, wearing every hat… it’s not always easy. But we keep going. And as a South Asian woman in the fitness space, it means even more. Representation in wellness isn’t a trend, it’s progress. I’m so proud to be part of a shift where more diverse voices, energy and culture are being brought into spaces that haven’t always reflected that.

A few moments from this month…
• Meeting so many of you at Harlequin Shopping Centre, such a lovely way to connect with the local community
• Our Yin classes being busier than ever… a reminder of how much we all need to slow down sometimes
• Keeping up with my own training at CrossFit Verulamium in between everything else
• Yoga Sculpt continuing to grow (and challenge you all… in the best way)
• Teaching a corporate class at the Watford Probation Office — movement in new spaces
• Daily steps, now the lighter mornings are back
• Staying consistent with strength training post-comp season
• So much gratitude for our full classes and this growing community
• The small things, homemade protein balls, brownies, finding balance where I can
• Within a busy March we hosted a sell out International Women’s Day gut health event

And now… it’s time to pause.Swapping the yoga mat for some sunshine as my family and I head to Thailand for a little reset.🌴 The studio is in the best hands with our incredible instructors, and I can’t wait to be back with you all very soon.

There’s something about the way a class feels that makes you want to come back. Not just the movement, but the energy in the room, the way you’re guided, and the space to switch off for an hour and focus only on yourself. We’ve always cared about the small details, how we teach, how we support you, and how the space feels when you walk in. 🤍

YogaNastics has always been about creating a space where you feel comfortable to show up exactly as you are. No pressure, no expectations, just a supportive environment where you can move, build confidence and take time for yourself.

Whether it’s your first class or part of your weekly routine, you’re always welcome here.🤎

Sometimes the shift doesn’t start in the mind, it begins in the body. In the way you move, the way you breathe, the moment you slow down and reconnect with yourself.

As we move into spring, this is your reminder to stay active, embrace the lighter mornings and soak up those brighter, longer days. 🌞

Last week we gathered 28 incredible women in one room, to celebrate International Women’s Day. We hosted a special Pelvic Floor, Gut & Hormonal Health workshop, led by Women’s Health Physiotherapist Judith Landhausser and Naturopath & Nutritional Therapist Marina Townsley. Together, they guided us through an informative and empowering afternoon focused on understanding our bodies more deeply and learning how to better support our long-term wellbeing.

Judith shared valuable insight into pelvic floor health, how it works, common concerns such as bladder function, prolapse and pain during in*******se, and practical ways to strengthen and integrate pelvic floor awareness into our yoga practice.

Marina explored gut health and hormonal balance, explaining how the microbiome influences overall wellbeing, alongside conversations around perimenopause, menopause, HRT and natural ways to support the body through diet, movement and nutritional support.

The afternoon included expert-led education, gentle movement and exercises, open conversation and questions, and of course some delicious nutritional treats and herbal tea.

A huge thank you to Judith and Marina for sharing their knowledge, and to the wonderful women who joined us. It was a truly special afternoon of learning, connection and empowerment. 🤎
