Bring your historic family to meet your current family. I've got to know some of my relatives, even though they died years ago. You can see living conditions & work & lots of children...even poorhouses & Wars!! Life wasn't easy, BUT we wouldn't be here, if it wasn't for their grit, graft & hard decision making. We can enjoy all the freedoms & the modern life. Finding out at about what they went through in WW1 & WW2 (and previous wars/conflicts) - It's humbled me & I now have favourites, who i've softs spot for. I've got to know & respect them & envision what they look like.
I've also started The Best Name to Be Found List! Please feel free to just post an old relatives strange, quirky name & see if they make the list!
One of my avenues I want to go down with this Ancestry work, is to meet, get info, get all docs together in readable way & a chart with everything I can get & THEN having a reveal. Gather what relatives you like & I can deliver a story of the family straight to them. Few drinks, & chat & memories & news! It'll get everyone talking & laughing...even a few tears of sadness. The puzzle will be complete more complete tho! A Family Tree Reveal!
