Couldn’t be more prouder of the yams dementia club today 🫶🌻…YAMS are entering the carnival in Axbridge next month so today everyone got together including some of the teams children to make a beautiful banner for us. Everyone had great fun painting and there was even a home made lemon drizzle bought in for everyone to share. Lovely group, lovely morning 🌻..

I’m sure we all recognise Van Goghs famous ‘sunflower’ painting but did you know the sunflowers had a special significance for Van Gogh. He made seven versions of them.

Yellow, for him, was an emblem of happiness – in Dutch literature, the sunflower was a symbol of devotion and loyalty. In their various stages of decay, these flowers also remind us of the cycle of life and death.

Robert has wanted to do a car b***y for some time, so Chrissy arranged a day and went with him. She helped pack everything, set up and when the day was done packed things back up and took back to Robert’s. They both had a thoroughly good day and the rain just about stayed off 🤩…great day all round 😊
