We're supporting West Bromwich Pet Pantry, a group of hard-working volunteers who are dedicated to providing pet food to individuals and families who are experiencing financial hardship 🐾

If you'd like to get involved, visit us in the Community Hub with your donations. We're open from Monday to Wednesday from 10:00 to 13.00 and 13.30 to 16.00 and Friday from 10:00 to 13.00 and 13.30 to 16.00.

Help us put an end to pet food poverty 😺🐶

There's one month left before our School Uniform Swap ends for the year! 👚

This is your reminder to donate any unwanted but clean and undamaged uniform. From jumpers to trousers, bring them to us and we'll accept them.

If you'd like to collect free uniform, visit us during our opening hours: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday, from 10:00 to 13.00 and 13.30 to 16.00 🫶

And that's not all, to support our beloved community, we are accepting school uniform donations/collections and pet pantry donations.

You can donate school uniform and/or pet food or collect school uniform during our opening hours - Monday to Wednesday from 10:00 to 13:00 and 13:30 to 16:00 and Friday from 10:00 to 13:00 and 13:30 to 16:00.

Join us at the Community Hub tomorrow for our children's session on how to become a water saver!💧

Our very own Education Officer, Maria Cole, will be running the session where she'll talk about water efficiency and how we can all be water efficient. Get creative and make your very own water butt (please bring an empty milk bottle) to take home🏠

The session will be held between 11:00 to 13:00 and 13:30 to 15:00, we can't wait to have you join us.

It's Dementia Action Week and this years' focus is the importance of an early diagnosis for people affected by dementia.

Diagnosis is vital to give people access to the care, treatment and support they need but around 1 in 3 people living in the UK with dementia do not have a diagnosis.

Visit our Community Hub, where you can receive extra help from us through our Priority Services Register - it provides extra help linked to our water services. We can support customers with dementia, and those living with other medical conditions and physical disabilities. By joining, we can support you with the below and more.

They can talk you through our affordability tariffs - where you could be eligible for a discount on your bill, our different payment plans, requesting a water meter and our Priority Services Register 🏠

Open to everyone, the Community Hub is there for you.

Please call in to see us if:

You are on our Priority Services Register and you want a little extra help – whether it’s for reading or understanding your bill if you have any medical issues we need to be aware of, or you are worried about bogus callers visiting your home, we can help.

You need help paying your bill – we understand it can sometimes be difficult to pay your bill, so we are here to provide help and advice on different ways you can manage this.

You are interested in switching to a water meter – if you want to find out more about how to switch to a water meter and the benefits of doing so, we will be happy to help. You could save around £100 a year by making the switch.

You want advice on saving water and money – taking care not to waste water really helps the environment, can lower your fuel bills and, if you are on a meter, can help your pocket too.

We regularly have community groups and other agencies using the Hub, so you can get help with other issues:

Jobcentreplus hold regular job fairs and have a job vacancy board in the hub which are changed each week.

Citizens Advice are based in the hub every Monday so that customers can seek expert money advice. Find out more about Citizens Advice.

SAFL (Sandwell Adults & Family Learning) run courses at the hub each week to support people looking for work. This includes letter writing, internet and email skills, as well as courses to help families with Universal Credit. Find out more about SAFL.

Breaking Bread the local foodbank, has joined up with us so that we can offer food bank vouchers on the days they are closed. Find out more about Breaking Bread Foodbank.

npower have teamed up with us so that we can offer customers in need “fuel bank” vouchers and warm home discount advice.

The hub also has a ‘Kids’ Corner’, a space to help keep your children to be kept occupied, while you have the opportunity to speak with us.
