Tranquility Lodge Therapy provides treatments for ladies only and includes massage for individual needs and facials using natural, vegan and organic Tropic Skincare products, tailored to your individual skin needs and concerns. Tranquility Lodge Therapy has relaunced and I am now able to provide more treatments, including being able to offer something if you have been diagnosed with cancer and undergoing treatment, or if you have completed your treatment. Massage is used by people for a variety of reasons. Some use it to simply relax and unwind, while others have regular massage appointments to help them manage or cope with specific physical, mental or emotional problems. Many aspiring and professional athletes have massages before and after training and competing, in order to stay in optimum condition and aid recovery. I believe that everyone should be able to receive treatment and so I have now qualified as a Oncology Massage Therapist to be able to treat clients who have previously had a cancer diagnosis or are currently going through Cancer Treatment. Contact me for more information. Massage should not be used in place of conventional medical care. Always consult a GP or other health professional for medical attention and advice. New clients will be required to complete a consultation form before treatment can go ahead - this is to determine if the treatment is correct for you, highlight any areas that require treatment and any medical conditions that the therapist needs to be aware of (some medical conditions may mean that you will require a Doctors consent letter before treatment can go ahead). Returning clients will need to confirm with the therapist that nothing has changed since last treatment and complete a new consultation form if you haven't received treatment since 2023. I tell my clients all the time how important regular massage is…
So naturally… I ignored my own advice 🙄😅

Before December I knew I needed to book a massage.
Did I book one?
Nope.🤦🏻‍♀️

Fast-forward to this last week – hello bad back 👋.
It started on Monday just a niggle..by Thursday night it had gone into spasm and I couldn’t move and the pain was like nothing else! 😩 Thankfully with rest, painkillers and hot water bottle, I was finally able to move freely on Saturday and pain free Sunday.

Massage isn’t just a “treat” – it’s maintenance:
✔ Keeps muscles loose
✔ Helps prevent injuries
✔ Improves posture & mobility
✔ Reduces stress before it becomes pain

Learn from my mistake – don’t wait until your body is shouting at you.

I hope you’ve had a wonderful Christmas and Boxing Day 🎄 🎁 🥂 and eaten your body weight in food and chocolate 🍫 😂

Have you ventured out with the lovely weather on either of the days for a stroll? We went out yesterday lunchtime for a stroll in the woods around the back of here and it was lovely but boy the wind was bitterly cold. 🥶

This morning I ventured out for a short run and it was beautiful ..not as cold even though frosty and the blue sky soon disappeared after about 20 mins but that has set me up for the next few days.

Have a good weekend whether you’re venturing out to see family or friends or hitting the sales 🤩
