The residents have had an enjoyable day today at Nightingale 😄. This morning we enjoyed playing quoits and bowling, with plenty of laughter and a friendly competition🎳🤭. As well as this, we even had a wonderful unplanned singalong music session with a few of the residents, playing suggested songs from Elvis, the beach boys and the Beatles. Once we started singing we couldn’t stop! 🎸🎤. This afternoon we have tested our knowledge and kept our minds busy with a game of finish the phrase, puzzles and a few classic board games 🎲🧩. Overall a joyful and lively day at Nightingale 😃.

We’ve had an active morning here at Nightingale 🕺🏐
We started the day off with some light stretching and exercises with the ball, keeping both our arms and legs moving 🙆🏼‍♀️🎾. After this we enjoyed a fun new game where the residents had to knock the balloon out of the cup by tossing bean bags. Participation was high this morning and the residents are in good spirits! This afternoon we are looking forward to an assortment of word/mind games including ‘Name 5’ and ‘ABC game’.

We’ve had a great day today here at Nightingale 😄. This mornings physical activity was a series of balloon games which the residents activley engaged and enjoyed. We had a fun game where the residents were allowed to use anything but their hands to keep the balloon up in the air 🏏🏑🏸. This afternoon consisted of mind games including hangman and categories, the residents joined in and contributed well throughout 🧠🧩. Some of the residents also enjoyed a pamper this afternoon, having their nails cleaned, trimmed and painted 💅🫧. We’ve had a wonderful day here at Nightingale! 😁

We’ve had a wonderful start to the week here at Nightingale😄. This morning, lots of the residents joined in playing stickball, having a friendly competition to see who scores the most points🎯💯. As well as this, we played a fun game that a couple of the residents came up with, involving the fan and balloons, sharing laughs all around🎈🪄.
This afternoon, a couple of the residents enjoyed a walk around the grounds to get some fresh air. On our walk, we collected some fallen sticks and leaves for our craft session 🪾🍂. After this, we had a lovely craft session where the residents used their collected material to make a little autumnal hedgehog 🦔🍁. We finished the day off with a short autumn quiz. 😁

Today here at nightingale we have had an active morning playing netball and balloon games which the residents enjoyed. 🙂
This afternoon we have played dominos and done some colouring and dot to dot😊
We also got our thinking caps on playing the ABC game and new word game called oppposites, where the residents had to find the opposite word to word mentioned which they also enjoyed. 😊

We have had a busy day here at Nightingale today. 🙂
This morning we enjoyed doing something physical activity’s keeping active doing some chair exercises and playing tennis 🎾
This afternoon we did a social activity with our music afternoon playing songs from the 60’s and 70’s and playing instruments and having a good old sing along 🎶🙂
We finished off the day with a music quiz which the residents enjoyed, a lovely day had by all. 😊

We have had a lovely day here at nightingale today. This morning we enjoyed doing some physical activities playing with the parachute and playing stickball 😊
Some of our ladies also enjoyed a bit of a pamper have their nails painted this morning 💅
This afternoon the residents have enjoyed playing bingo in the lounge and winning some chocolate 🍫 we finished off the afternoon playing finish the phrase ☺️

We have had a busy day today here at Nightingale 😊
This morning we have enjoyed doing some physical activities playing netball and quoits, keeping ourselves active 🙂
This afternoon we have played some word games to help keep our minds stimulated the residents enjoyed playing hangman and name five.
We ended the afternoon with a general knowledge quiz and a true or false quiz, the residents were very quick to answer the quiz questions today.
Another lovely busy day had by all today. ☺️

Yesterdays activities at Nightingale consisted of some physical games in the morning with residents enjoying tennis and a favourite of various sorts of ball games. The residents were keen to join in and shared laughs all around 🎾😄. In the afternoon we had a music session where we played a mixture of songs from previous decades and genres whilst the residents joined in, singing along, playing instruments and even a little boogie 💃🕺. We even had some help on the tea trolley in the afternoon! 😃 All in all a wonderful day here at Nightingale. 🙂
