We have had another busy day here at Nightingale 😌
This morning we have played balloon tennis and our residents have enjoyed participating bowling, keeping ourselves active. ☺️
This afternoon we have been getting our thinking caps on doing some word searches and some crosswords in the lounges.
We have also enjoyed making some button trees in the conservatory. We like being creative. We have a had a lovely day today 😊

This morning we have been participating in some physical activities in the lounges playing netball and darts, the residents enjoyed encouraging and cheering each other on to get the ball through the net whilst playing netball this morning. 🏀
This afternoon our residents enjoyed baking a fruit cake for their evening tea trolley this evening our bakers can’t wait to try a slice of cake later on 😋🍰
We finished off the afternoon with a ABC answer quiz and a what goes together quiz.

Our morning was spent diving into some great reading — from stories about beautiful gardens and loyal dogs to a bit of royal wedding sparkle! 👑🐾🌸

In the afternoon, things got a little more energetic with a fun round of bowling 🎳 and then we settled in for a cozy movie session with *Ghostbusters* and *The Man Who Knew Too Little*. 🍿💫

Lots of smiles, laughter, and good conversation all around — just the way we like it!

Today we have enjoyed participating in a range of activities today ☺️
This morning we played balloon tennis and parachute in the lounges lots of laughs and smiles all round whilst keeping active this morning 😊
This afternoon we playing bingo which is a favourite of our lovely residents there was some chocolate prizes up for grabs also. 🍫😋
We finished off the afternoon doing some reminiscing playing golden expressions. ☺️

Our residents had a wonderful day today. This morning they enjoyed a fun ball game together, and in the afternoon they took part in “Name 5” and the “ABC Game”. There was so much laughter and joy listening to everyone’s answers. It’s lovely to see our residents engaging, smiling, and sharing special moments together. 🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂

Happy new year everybody 🎉🎆🎇
We have kicked off 2026 with some physical activity’s in the lounges this morning playing balloon games, we also played bean bag toss and the residents were competing for points and of cause some chocolates 🍫😋
We also enjoyed playing connect four and jenga and doing some puzzles ☺️
This afternoon we enjoyed a peaceful afternoon doing some colouring and we of course finished off the afternoon playing finish the phrase and doing a quiz.
A lovely day had by all ☺️

Today was jolly good day . We started our day with netball and entered the afternoon on a high note listening to hit numbers by Elvis Presley, Jonny Cash and of course everyone’s favourite “Do the hoki poki” sung by Shirree. What a wonderful sight to see and dance our way into New Year. Wishing each one of you a Happy and prosperous New year.

This morning we enjoyed participating in some physical activities in the lounges playing quoits and keeping ourselves active doing some chair exercises 😊
This afternoon we enjoyed playing hangman which the residents found challenging but they enjoyed the challenge 😊 we finished off the afternoon getting creative making some paper sparklers 🎇🎆

We have 47 residents registered with CQC (Care Quality Commission) and we care for every resident as if they were members of our own family.

We are dedicated in hiring the right people and support them to achieve a rewarding career. We continue to develop our skills, techniques, and knowledge, to be able to ensure continuity of top standard care.

We are passionate about what we do. We all add our own touch of homeliness to the homes with an added touch of humour, we know that laughter is always the best medicine!
