Facial Acupressure therapy treats the unique structure of the face to release tension and support your emotional wellbeing and relieve stress. It incorporates a head, neck and shoulder massage, working with the Chinese Acupressure facial map to benefit the whole body.
We hold a lot of tension in our face, neck and shoulders. You may experience headaches, neck and shoulder tension, jaw discomfort, tension in the back of your head (occipital). All of these may be as a result of holding onto tension and stress is the most likely cause. Stagnant energy (Qi) can block the flow of Qi, causing dis-ease. Using gentle pressure applied to acupressure points, helps to unblock congested Qi, enabling Qi to flow freely again, to create homeostasis within your mind, body and soul.
The treatment begins with a soothing neck, shoulder and scalp massage which helps release tension in your muscles and fascia. A facial cleanse and hot towel, following on to begin facial massage incorporating facial acupressure points. Moments into the treatment you will be in a very relaxed state!

My Story

My name is Becky. For the last 30 years I have worked in the dental profession as a qualified dental nurse. For a while I have been wanting to change my career but wasn’t sure what I wanted to do. I am a caring and empathetic person and I am passionate about helping people. I still wanted to carry on helping and caring for people but in a different way to what I do as a dental nurse. Now my children have grown up, I felt it was the right time to enrol on a course and learn a new profession. I have an interest in holistic therapies and healing and I thought learning an alternative therapy would be a pathway into helping people. Whilst having reflexology myself, I was chatting to my therapist about feelings of wanting to change my career and needing more in life. My therapist lent me a book on different therapies to see if I was drawn to a specific therapy. I found reflexology helped me when I was feeling lost and negative about life so it inspired me to learn reflexology, then I can help others too. I trained with Three Shires School of Reflexology and have gained the Profession Reflexology Practitioner Diploma Qualification. I also have certificates in Reiki level 1 and 2 which I completed in 2004.

I have set up a treatment room in my garden, located in the village of Wellesbourne, Warwickshire. This idyllic hideaway is an ideal place to come if you are wanting to relax and unwind, having that quiet time for yourself and letting your mind clear itself of all those thoughts for a while. My aim is to give you a deeply relaxing holistic reflexology treatment that will encourage the body to restore balance and well-being. Every treatment is tailored to each individual so I give the best treatment I can to everyone.
