Thought I’d introduce myself and give you a bit of my background!

I’m Dan, Physio at Pure Performance Physiotherapy 👋

Over the past 9 years I have developed a wealth of experience within the health and fitness industry. After graduating from my BSc Physiotherapy degree at Coventry University, I have held a variety of roles within the NHS, Sport and Private Sector. Now, alongside Pure Performance Physiotherapy, I work in the NHS as an Advanced Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist as well as being a guest lecturer at Birmingham City University.

My vision for Pure Performance Physiotherapy is to help people move away from treatments that only offer short term pain relief and rehabilitation programmes that do not prepare their bodies for the demands of their sport or even everyday life. The aim at Pure Performance is to improve injury rehabilitation by helping you build long lasting changes and to get you back to performing your best.

Outside of work I have a passion for all things health and fitness. I love all sports but in particular I am a huge rugby fan! 🏉

Outside of a sporting environment you will find me walking the dog, in the garden or attempting some DIY!

The word performance is often associated with athletes and sport but if we look at the definition of performance, we can see it is something that applies to anyone and everyone no matter what your job or hobbies.

Sometimes we are not able to perform the tasks we need to do or love doing as effectively as we like.

This may be due to pain, reduced mobility, reduced strength and fitness or simply at times we just want to do things better.
