Stratford Podiatry and Foot Care

Stratford Podiatry and Foot Care I am pleased to offer appointments to see existing and new patients in Wellesbourne at Hastings Hous Some of you may know me through my very busy NHS work.

Hello and welcome to my page....I look forward to meeting you in my clinic. STRATFORD PODIATRY AND FOOT CARE

Welcome to the page of Stratford Podiatry & Foot Care. I am proud to announce that having been successful in private practice in Shipston on Stour, I have been invited to practice within the newly built Hastings House Medical Centre in Wellesbourne. I also continue to work for South Warwickshire Foundation NHS Trust where I work alongside Diabetes Consultants, Vascular and Orthopaedic Surgeons, Podiatrists, Orthotists, Nurses and Health Care Assistants. I love the variety that private practice offers - no problem is trivial, if it bothers you, I will help you. I get a real buzz out of hearing the familiar “I feel like I’m walking on air!” as patients leave the consultation. It really does maintain my belief that I found my vocation with Podiatry. I qualified 25 years ago (in July) and my passion remains strong.....thanks to the work experience I was lucky to have with Solihull Hospital when I was 14 years old! I have a special interest in diabetes and my mission in private practice is to prevent all patients I look after developing further problems which require hospital care. I communicate regularly with Practice Nurses who are often responsible for the annual screening of diabetic feet and happily discuss relevant findings or areas of concern (obviously with patient’s consent). Working as part of a wider team (GPs, District Nurses, Hospital Consultants, Orthotists, other Podiatrists) is essential for the patient with any long term conditions. Conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, MS, Parkinson’s, paraplegic disabilities require a knowledgable and caring podiatric management plan. Please do call Helen (my fab admin lady and all round organiser!) for a friendly chat about how I may be able to help you or your relative with any foot health concern. I can’t express my sadness of the world losing such an inspirational health motivator. I’ve lost count how many people I have advised either listen on BBC sounds to, watch on tv or read his books.
His style was enthusiastic, informative and normal. Like many, I was hoping and checking the news frequently for updates of good news. He was too young.
I am thinking of his wife and family at this very sad time.

Really sad news about the passing of Michael Mosley.

He was a giant in terms of bringing actionable preventive health tips to the masses in novel and accessible ways, blending his medical training with his creative abilities as a writer and producer. He was also a mentor and impresario of sorts to many media medics.

I only ever met him once some years ago at the BBC and was struck by his humour, curiosity and candour.

He will be hugely missed, but the legacy he leaves and his body of work remains staggering and so helpful to so many.

Hardly a week goes by without someone I know mentioning the benefit they extracted from one of his books or radio programmes. Such a huge loss.

Thinking of his family at this time.
🙏🏾

Welcome to the brand new page of Stratford Podiatry & Foot Care. I am proud to announce that I have been invited to practice within the newly built Hastings House Medical Centre in Wellesbourne. I have been practicing very successfully in Shipston on Stour for the past 9 years (to the month!) and I very much look forward to expanding my private practice. I continue to see patients past, present and future in Shipston. Some of you may know me through my very busy NHS work. I also continue to work for South Warwickshire Foundation NHS Trust where I work alongside Diabetes Consultants, Vascular and Orthopaedic Surgeons, Podiatrists, Orthotists, Nurses and Health Care Assistants.

I qualified nearly 23 years ago and my passion remains strong.....thanks to the work experience I was lucky to have with Solihull Hospital when I was 14 years old!
