What a crazy couple of days it’s been. I hope that everyone is doing okay and keeping as smiley as they can.

It’s hard to see the positive when it feels like things are crumbling around you, but find the things that make you feel better. Get outside, enjoy the fresh air (rain or shine), eat well (including indulging in all Christmas treats) and just talk to people. Keep the people that are important around you, and tell them if you aren’t quite okay.

Move your body, big or small. If things are frustrating or getting too much, a little movement can go a long way. Breathe, meditate, practice your own movement. You will never feel worse for moving your body.

I’ll be offering virtual classes and 1:1 / group sessions in the coming months. More to come soon, but for now I’m going to have a little time off, a bit of a reset.

It’s been a week of getting back into the swing of teaching real humans and it’s been wonderful!! Crazy how quickly things can be taken away from you, so make the most of it while it’s right in front of you.

My day off yesterday consisted of a morning run, a big breakfast, a 32 km cycle to Richmond Park, and a catch up with uni friends in the evening. It was wonderful.

Remember how important it is to remove yourself from work. Take time out for yourself, get outside. And enjoy your time offline.

Remember to join the facebook group. There is a ab finisher and flow waiting there for you. I’ll see you there for our next scheduled run on Monday!

ALSO a reminder that tonight I’ll be teaching a flow & restore class live at ✨ Pop over for some gentle flow and yin inspired postures. Allll the chilled out feelings for our next Friday evenings in.

BRIDGE AND BOAT POSE⁣

Two of my favourite poses for glute and ab activation. When in your bridge, really imagine squeezing a ball between the legs to find more work in the inner thighs and glutes. Or, if you do have a block or Pilates ball, grab them! ⁣

CORE ACTIVATION⠀

This exercise does wonders in warming up the front of the body quickly and actively. There are many variations of plank, but this is 100% one of my favourites to build up energy and fire in the body, preparing ourselves for a dynamic flow. It also helps to build and practice strength in the centre of the body. Give this a go before a yoga practice, before a workout, after a workout. ⠀
