On 6th June I’m taking on a 50km trek in the Lake District for my Nan and everyone living with Parkinson’s.

I see first-hand how tough the day-to-day reality can be. That’s why I’m raising money for , who support families, fund vital research and fight for better care.

I’ve been a bit quiet on here lately. Life’s been full on with family bits, business stuff and a diary that’s filling up fast in the run up to Christmas.

But who cares for the carers?

I recently shared a blog about one of my lovely clients, Donna, a single mum caring for three children, two with complex additional needs. Like many unpaid carers, Donna’s days are physically and emotionally demanding, leaving little time for her own wellbeing.

Through the support of Northamptonshire Carers, she was able to identify that massage would really help her and she booked a series of massage treatments with me, and the difference has been life changing.

Her pain has eased, her stress has softened, and she’s finally finding moments of peace again.
