Manual lymphatic drainage and combined decongestive therapy.

If you have lymphoedema, chronic oedema, lipoedema and other medical related inflammatory conditions, post surgery, injuries and would like to see a specialist please contact me.

I am qualified to treat lymphoedema from any cause including cancer related.

I have trained and qualified with 2 of 5 recognised courses. Dr Vodder Academy and Lymphoedema Training Academy

I am on MLDUK website as a full member and DLT meaning I have qualified to the highest level and for treating medically related lymphoedema.

I have the full and correct insurance to treat medically related lymphoedema.

To stay current I undertake reviews in both schools and need to perform to a certain standard to provide my treatments.

Check with your therapist and enquire as to what lymphatic drainage school they qualified with. Check the therapist is on the MLDUK register.

PLEASE BE AWARE, it’s your health.
There are so many courses for lymphatic drainage massages but they do not follow the strict criteria nor insurance requirements to treat people with lymphoedema.

Lipoedema, a real issue and often dismissed by others as fat and the person needing to lose weight.
Unfortunately it’s not the kind of body fat that will reduce when weight is managed.

Mahala, Northamptonshire Physio Clinic, has a fantastic new therapy place. It’s very high spec and secure if working outside normal business hours. All completely new furniture, facilities and purpose built. There is a sink inside the room which is very useful.

Remember to recharge yourself.

Take time out to breath, have a coffee/tea, do something enjoyable, smile/laugh and tiring the phone off/silent so you can take a moment for yourselves

We spend long enough in work situations. Tied up in life, in constant routines we often don’t include ourselves.

To be the best you can be, you need some down time as well to function at our optimum potential.
