✨ A huge milestone reached — my final day at university! 🎓✨

It’s been an intense two-year journey filled with study, placements, work, family life and countless late evenings. Balancing five days a week on placement or at university, one “day off” (that was never really a day off 😅), and working on Sundays was a real challenge, especially with essays, deadlines and a dissertation added into the mix!

But every effort was worth it. I’ve completed all my exams, submitted every assignment (including my dissertation!), and officially reached the finish line. 🎉

I’m incredibly grateful for everyone who supported me along the way — family, friends, colleagues, mentors, and the amazing teams I’ve had the privilege to learn from during my placements.

Now it’s time to take a breath, refocus, enjoy time with my family, and look forward to the next chapter as a newly qualified physiotherapist. 🤩💛

Cheers to new beginnings! 🥂✨

🎉 Exciting update! 🎉

I’m now approaching the end of my Physiotherapy course (can’t believe how quickly it’s gone!), and I’m opening up a few appointment slots from 25th November onwards! 🙌

Here’s what’s currently available:
📅 Tuesday, 25th November – between 10:00 and 14:00
📅 Thursday, 27th November – between 10:00 and 14:00
📅 Friday, 28th November – between 10:00 and 14:00

These are provisional slots, and more will be added very soon, so keep an eye out 👀

💡 A quick note: the previous online booking system is no longer active while I work on installing a new one. For now, please book directly with me — just send me a message here or drop me a text to arrange your appointment.

Looking for new players!

Some of you may already know that I’ve been playing volleyball for a while. I’m also the captain of the Kingsthorpe Volleyball Club ladies team — which means I’ll be the one welcoming you, supporting you on court, and helping you settle in if you decide to join us 😊

We are currently looking for new players, and we welcome any age and any level — whether you’re a complete beginner or have experience, you’ll fit right in.
📍 Training every Thursday, 19:00–21:00 (Lings Forum Leisure Centre, Northampton)

Volleyball is a fantastic way to stay active, build confidence, make friends, and have a lot of fun.

I’ll be starting my very last placement soon, which means I won’t be available for appointments over the next six weeks. To complete it successfully, I really need to give it my full focus.

✨ A little reminder about planning your body treatments ✨

Massage is a powerful way to release tension and restore balance, but it’s also common to feel a little achy, drained, or even more emotional for a couple of days afterwards. That’s your body’s way of processing the changes and beginning to heal.

To get the best out of your treatment, it’s always worth planning ahead:
🌿 Allow yourself plenty of time to rest afterwards
🌿 Ideally, keep the following day light or even take it off if you can
🌿 Stay well hydrated with water or herbal tea
🌿 Avoid caffeinated, fizzy, or alcoholic drinks
🌿 Skip heavy meals so your body can focus on recovery

By giving yourself that extra time and care, you’ll feel the long-term benefits much more deeply.

Yesterday, I had a deep tissue massage myself, and it reminded me why I recommend regular treatments so often. Deep tissue work helps release chronic muscle tension, improve mobility, and speed up recovery, but it also gives your mind a chance to slow down and reset.

Even as a therapist, I sometimes wait too long before booking in, and I can really feel the difference afterwards. Regular body care isn’t just for athletes — it’s something we can all benefit from in our everyday lives. 🌿
