​I have started my journey as a professional therapist in 2011, but with the passing years, I see that my whole life was leading me to where I am and what I do now. I love helping people and teaching people how to help themselves. My aim is to empower people, help them to recognize their own power over their bodies and minds. The body's ability to heal is so much greater than many of us dare to believe.

​Throughout the years my focus shifted several times. Each of these periods I learned different ways and treatment techniques that enabled me to help my clients with diverse needs. From acute pain clients needing immediate pain relief to chronic muscular-skeletal complaints and later physiological problems. In the most recent years, I dived deeper into a holistic approach to health, focused on functional nutrition, gut health, endocrine system and hormonal balance and so much more.

​I believe that the passion and understanding come from experience and although it hasn't always been a walk in the park I am grateful for all the hurdles that life threw at my feet.

​The most common complaints I meet with and regularly work with, in my practice are lower back pain, sciatica, general back pain and stiffness, hip and groin pain, shoulder pain and movement inhibition, knee pain. Many cases of pain are due to an unknown cause, some due to an injury or surgery.

​Pain is often accompanied by muscular weakness, joint immobility, breathing dysfunctions, and other physical and physiological symptoms that can be addressed* along, such as diastasis recti, acid reflux, water retention, muscular cramps, urinary and bowel incontinence, constipation, IBS, varicose veins, anxiety.

​I also provide general treatments, massage therapy pre and post-exercise, therapeutic and relaxing massages and bodywork.

​I offer personal training sessions, currently working mobile only.

Lovely weekend with Rosie, Niamh and José planning our first workshop designed for women's health and support.
Rosie has been supplying me with organic oils for my little clinic for nearly a year now. Her products are incredible; natural, and exceptional quality that makes a real difference. Finally, acceptable weather for proper barefoot walking. I love my barefoot style shoes, but connecting to the earth, this beautiful living and breathing planet, is so healing. ❤️

Enjoy your food.

General rule to regulare blood glucose and insulin spikes; avoid large meals especially in the evening, include protein, fat, healthy carbs containing some fibre in each meal.
Your nervous system stays happy, your blood glucose and insulin balanced, your hormones balanced. And therfore your weight becomes and stays optimal.

Start your morning with protein and fat, not sugar! This means no cereal, porridge, toast 🙅‍♀️🙅‍♀️

Poor digestive health = poor immune health.
Important to remind ourselves of this, when dealing with autoimmune disease affecting joint health (and everything else in the body).
There is no quick fix and ignoring this, ignoring gut health won't make your symptoms go away.
Massage can be very soothing and play a part during recovery but on its own, it won't change much long term other than sadly delaying the healing.
Massage can help with circulation and bringing nutrients and lubrication to the joints, local inflammation, proprioception therefore improving neuro-muscular function, relaxation and nervous system responses which is crucial for healing.
But if used on its own, all only temporarily in most cases.

Are you trying to get fitter but find exercising difficult due to back pain and stiffness? The more you try the stiffer you get? Not sure what to do?
It is ok and natural to feel muscular stiffness post workout especially if you have been sedentary for a long time. Muscular weakness, proprioception and kinaesthetic awareness loss (knowing where your body parts are in the space, neurologically asleep muscles) is a challenging place to be.
Don't get discouraged too quickly. The reason that the body, muscles, and joints including the spine compress and stiffen up is because we try to do too much too quickly, don't have a good plan (types of exercise for our current individual needs).
Even things like exercising while our nervous system is in survival mode are often to blame. This would cause, bracing and further disconnection from the body, low or too high muscle tone, rapid shallow breathing and therefore joint compression.
Massage therapy can be very helpful for recovery so you can build up on your strength a lot faster without joint pain.
I can also help you with a personal exercise plan and nutrition.
Nutrition is also crucial part of the process if you would like to get fitter and stronger. From my experience I know that good nutrition and healthy gut can make you stronger physically before you even lift any weights.
