It’s Chocolate Friday in a very sunny Pisa today.
Luisa Clemenzi and Jeremy Fountain the chocolate made it. Check our initials, apologies they are a little worn from the travelling but they made it. We will enjoy these while we are wandering around Florence.

It’s Chocolate Friday.
Thank you Luisa Clemenzi - we still have the bag of Minstrels. They have now been signed by Janine and Melissa and will travel with them to Pisa next week for Chocolate Friday there.
Thank you to Julie Mason-Wright for your gorgeous selection of old school favourites. (I’m convinced curly wurlys have shrunk!!!)

This is a very late chocolate Friday post, but a massive thank you to Luisa Clemenzi for our wonderful Minstrels. Melissa and I are going to hide them in our luggage for when we go to Pisa later in the month!!!

Chocolate Friday has been resumed now we are back!!!

This is a belated post due to last Friday being very chaotic but a massive thank you to Danny Carroll for the Galaxy (my favourite ❤️) and to one of the wonderful Kelly’s Heroes Riders Lee Foster for our very thoughtful gift of a chocolate (Friday) bouquet. A wonderful surprise.

These will keep us all going for quite a while.

While we were away with Kellys Heroes Fountains held a competition to see if you could guess how many treatments were carried out throughout the ride and how many acupuncture needles were used.

We have added up both of these totals and can announce the winners!!!

The total amount of treatments carried out was: 128

Congratulations to Keri Williams for your guess of 132.

The total amount of needles was: 238.

Congratulations to Lee Kelf for your guess of 225.

A full body sports massage voucher awaits you both!!

Thank you to everyone for entering and donating, you have helped us raise (including gift aid) £760 for Kelly’s Heroes Charity.

The cyclist who had the most treatments was Stephen Duncan with 21 and the cyclist who had the most needles was John Hewitt with 59!!!

They’ve only gone and done it!!!
Rock Bottom, a journey back!
1265 miles cycled. Early starts, late finishes was all worth it for this moment.

Day 14 – Journey Back from Rock Bottom 25 🚴‍♂️💛

The vans are loaded, the bikes are packed, and the riders’ feet are finally getting a well-earned rest. Tomorrow feels like one small step to go as we collect the Baton of Hope at Wicksteed Park and carry it to our final stop at Wellingborough Golf Club.
