I want to take a moment to truly celebrate, my incredible daughter. At just 15, she has already shown depth, courage, and determination beyond her years. After facing challenges during a tough year she’s now homeschooled and, with myself and her big brothers by her side, she continues to amaze me with her strength and spirit.
Despite everything she’s endured, Ebonie has chosen to create something beautiful out of her experiences—she’s started training as a nail technician, all through her own initiative and drive. Watching her dive into new opportunities, pushing herself time and again, fills my heart with so much pride. Today, when faced with new challenges, she leapt in with open arms and that infectious energy she brings into everything she does.
Ebonie is not just the cheerful voice behind your calls and texts, bringing laughter and honesty to our salon, but now she’s also our talented trainee nail technician. And while she prepares to join the police in September—just one of the many paths she’s bravely exploring—she continues to light up every room she enters.
My darling girl, you are my greatest inspiration. You remind me to be stronger, kinder, and more joyful every day. I feel endlessly grateful for the privilege of being your mum, to stand beside you and watch you shine. There is no one I’d rather face life’s battles with than you.
