Our chocolate making classes are becoming very popular. February is now fully booked, we have some availability left in March (21st & 28th), and on April 25th.
You’ll spend the 4 to 5 hour class learning the basics of chocolate with chef Lubo Rotak, from the history of chocolate through to decorating, creating your own filling, and making chocolates to take home.
Producing filled chocolate takes time due to it being a multi stepped process, so while chocolate shells are setting between stages, we run a few extra activities. One of the favourites is Lubo’s “smell and tell” challenge. After 20 years working in baking, designing cakes for some of the biggest names in the UK, he’s handled thousands of ingredients, from the everyday to the frankly bizarre. You’ll be given 20 different aromas to identify, and so far nobody has managed more than 16, which is the current record to beat!
