Isn't it great to see Lipoedema represented in the mainstream media?!

Josie Gibson is a well-known TV personality who recently revealed her journey and experience with lipoedema, on ITV's This Morning. Josie expressed how her legs can often feel swollen and heavy after long days of filming, and also bruise easily.

Like many people with lipoedema, Josie uses compression hosiery as part of managing her symptoms. Compression can help reduce discomfort and heaviness, support tissues and joints, improve lymphatic drainage and reduce swelling.

We love how Josie described her personal experience, providing awareness to help others to feel seen. At Patient Choice, we believe that real-patient representation is crucial, to raise awareness and show to resilience of those living with chronic conditions.

That's why we launched our campaign. We hope to help patients shine a light on the courage, resilience and experiences found in real health journeys.
