National Food Safety Month,

This month is the perfect time to stay current on training, especially our Allergen Awareness online course. This crucial training not only reinforces your knowledge but also raises awareness of the very real risk posed by food allergies. In the UK in 2024, about 6% of adults roughly 2.4 million people have a clinically confirmed food allergy, while nearly 30% experience food hypersensitivity, including intolerances and coeliac disease.

Though deaths are rare, about 10 people per year in England and Wales lose their lives due to food allergy related causes. With such statistics in mind, keeping your allergen training up to date isn’t just good practice it could save lives.

We’re just 7 days away from our Charity Golf Day, and we couldn’t be more excited! All teams are ready to hit the green, and we’ve received some amazing donations for our auction and raffle thank you to everyone who’s contributed so far!

Last week, our Health & Safety Consultant Dan visited Fraser Anti-Static Techniques, one of our valued clients, to deliver Manual Handling Training to their team.

⚠️ Did you know we offer PAT Testing?

Under the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 and The Electricity at Work Regulations 1989, employers and duty holders are legally required to ensure that all electrical equipment that could cause injury is maintained in a safe condition.

That’s where PAT (Portable Appliance Testing) comes in.

What is PAT Testing?
It’s a key part of a maintenance regime that helps identify potential faults in portable electrical appliances before they become a hazard. It demonstrates your commitment to safety and ensures you meet your legal obligations under HSE guidelines.

Why is PAT Testing important?

✅Reduces the risk of electrical accidents

The HSE doesn’t set fixed testing intervals instead, frequency should be based on risk assessment considering:
