Just over 4 years, I've joined Mansfield Opticians in summer 2021

What’s the most common question patients ask you?
Can I book an appointment? 😛

What’s your go-to tip for someone choosing new glasses?
Go for comfort AND style. Remember, it will be on your nose and ears most of the day and will last at least a year. Your glasses should represent your individuality!

Favourite thing to do on a weekend?
I like to start my weekend at Shepton's parkrun (if I'm not working), generally I'll try to be outdoors as much as possible to let my eyes rest from the screen.

Hormonal changes during perimenopause and menopause can affect the tear film that keeps your eyes comfortable. As oestrogen levels change, many people notice symptoms of dry eye.

Common signs include:
• Gritty or dry feeling
• Burning or stinging
• Redness
• Blurred or fluctuating vision
• Watery eyes

Dry eye is very common during menopause, but treatment can help.

If your eyes feel constantly irritated or tired, an eye examination can assess your tear film and help find the right treatment.
