This one’s truly special — created for residents, by a resident. 🎶

For some time now, Tim has been stopping by the Apple Trees Conservatory in the mornings, catching up with Spencer from the Activities Team as the day begins. A huge fan of rock and roll with a deep love and knowledge of music (and a proper cup of coffee ☕), Tim began sharing stories and conversations over CDs, first from his own collection, then exploring those here at Fletcher House 🤩

From these morning moments, an idea was born… a Rock and Roll Breakfast Café! 🎸

Now hosted by Tim himself, this café is perfect for anyone who enjoys great music alongside their breakfast, bringing back the spirit of the classic 50s and 60s rock and roll cafés. With support from the admin team, the idea has come to life, and it’s already rocking! 👏

Spencer helped spread the word, and we’re excited to see this brilliant idea grow as more like-minded rockers join in.

⛰️ Supporting Our Dementia Unit Fundraiser 💙

One of our wonderful carers, Niesha, is taking on an amazing challenge to help raise money for our dementia unit.
Niesha will be completing a sponsored walk up Snowdon on Saturday 16th May to help us raise funds to purchase an interactive games table for our residents. ⛰️👏

Niesha won’t be doing it alone either, our fantastic deputies Tracy and Sasha will be taking on the challenge alongside her! 👏

We have sponsor sheets available at the home for anyone who would like to support them and contribute towards this wonderful cause. Every donation will help us bring something truly special to our dementia unit.
