This is currently me, had a couple of hours of feeling sorry for myself (my Mums birthday today) there are ups and down in life and we make a choice how we deal with the downs.
So I have washed my face with cold water (as Mum used to tell me to do when I had been bawling about some disaster or other πŸ˜…) pulled myself together and now feel a lot more positive.
Onwards and upwards πŸ’ͺ love to anyone who is struggling πŸ’™πŸ©·

This has come up a few times lately so I am just reminding you that you are in control.
If your inner critic is telling you you can't tell it to take a long walk to f*ck off hill, and when it gets to the top it can f*ck off some more.
Take control and do the hard thing whatever that maybe, you've got this πŸ’ͺπŸ’™πŸ©·

The issue is realising that you have sh*t to deal with in the first place, things that you might want to think about -no boundaries-people pleasing-anger that does not align with what the problem is- trying to control people- staying in relationships that you know are not healthy-always needing to be in a relationship-addictions-
The good new is you can rewire your brain, start small, be curious and just see where that takes you πŸ©·πŸ’™

Our thoughts are so important, we believe what we tell ourselves so if you find yourself negatively talking to yourself, flip the script, tell that inner critic to take a walk.
We can be our best selves, have better relationships (with ourselves and others) when we learn to be aware of the voice in our head and make it a positve thought.

Asking yourself the questions is not always easy, but the understanding you get of yourself when you start the curiosity journey is unparalleled. You can learn to recognise why you do certain things or react in certain ways (ways not helpful to anyone) and if it doesn't suit you to act that way anymore and you are brave enough to recognise that, then the good news is you can do something about it YYYAAAAAYYYYYY

Family Separation and Domestic Abuse - a FREE webinar organised by the Family Mediation Council for domestic abuse advisers.

- how Mediators assess whether a case is suitable for Mediation
- whether and how Mediation can work if there has been any domestic abuse
- the benefits of choosing Mediation

Did you know when you are going for a walk for the sake of going for a walk, you are telling your nervous system that you are safe (otherwise you would be running)
Walking connects the mind and body and can have such a positive impact on all of you.
People don's seem to walk much anymore and that is a real shame. If you can, try walking to the shop for a week, just be curious and experiment, there is absolutely nothing to lose πŸ’ͺ and a whole lot to gain ###
