We are proud to shine a spotlight on Dr. Matthew Piccaver, one of our Lead GP's for Cambridgeshire and Peterborough, whose dedication to patient care goes far beyond the consultation room. Knowing that patients often leave with more questions than answers, he’s taken matters into his own hands and published not one, but two empowering health guides.

His first book, Everything Your GP Doesn’t Have Time to Tell You About Arthritis, tackles one of the UK’s most common chronic conditions with clear, practical advice. His second, Dementia: Everything Your Doctor Doesn’t Have Time to Tell You, blends compassion with everyday guidance for patients and carers alike.

At HUC, we’re proud to celebrate Dr. Piccaver’s dedication to making healthcare clearer, kinder and more accessible. Read the full blog here - https://orlo.uk/CmAXA

By knowing your numbers, you can take early action to prevent or manage hypertension through lifestyle changes or medication. Regular checks help you and your healthcare provider track trends over time, allowing for timely interventions.

This Know Your Numbers Week, take a moment to check your blood pressure and take control of your cardiovascular health.
