It's again, and it's time for one more tip to help prevent the spread of the flu.

One of the most effective ways to prevent the spread of viruses is by regularly cleaning and disinfecting surfaces and objects that are frequently touched. Think about the everyday items we often overlook, such as door handles, light switches, countertops, and mobile phones.

By incorporating an antibacterial cleaning routine, you can significantly reduce the risk of illness in your home and community. Let's work together to create a healthier environment for everyone.

This Men's Mental Health Awareness Month, we want to remind everyone that strength isn't about silence. It's about seeking support.

In the UK, men are disproportionately affected by su***de. We need to normalise conversations about mental health and challenge the stigma that prevents men from reaching out.

What you can do today:
Check In. Ask a male friend, colleague, or family member how they really are.
Listen. Let them talk without judgment.
Share Resources. Encourage them to use available support services if they are struggling.

If you or someone you love needs help, visit https://orlo.uk/9nBsD for extra support.

Let's create a culture where talking about mental health is simply part of being well.

We’re incredibly proud to spotlight Sarah Tester, one of our Clinical Advisors whose dedication, compassion, and expertise are making a real impact through her work with Donate For Defib Weston-super-Mare. Since 2024, she’s helped grow the town’s defibrillator network from just five devices to more than eighty-five, all carefully registered, maintained, and ready to save lives.

Sarah has also trained hundreds in CPR and defibrillator use, represented the project in Parliament, met with MPs, and supported the team in winning the BBC Make A Difference Award in the Community Category. But for Sarah, the most meaningful moments come from families donating defibrillators in memory of loved ones. A huge well done to Sarah and the Donate For Defib W-s-M team for the life-changing work they’re doing across the community.
