Back at Maverick Gym today working on deadlifts for
Today, was a first attempt and we pulled 50 kg. If you don't already, give them a go. They are a great exercise to work on strengthening your posterior chain. This will focus on strengthening the muscles along the back of your body (glutes, hamstrings, calves, back, rear shoulders) for better power, stability, posture, and injury prevention.
Deadlifts also show you how to break a movement down into smaller components, which will transfer into other daily activities you may be struggling with.
