NB Counselling Counselling Services for Individuals and Couples I work with a diverse cultural client base and offer a confidential service to Individuals and Couples.

I am a psychodynamically trained counsellor/therapist and graduated from University of Hertfordshire in MA Contemporary Therapeutic Counselling. I offer a professional service and a caring space to talk about the difficulties that you may be going through at this time. I am passionate about my work and committed to help you realise the changes and goals you want to make in your life and as a couple . It may be that you lack confidence, or a voice or even the words, understanding this together can make the difference. I provide a warm, welcoming space to speak freely and openly without judgement. There are times in life when there are more questions than answers. Whatever you are going through, life’s anxieties and hurts can feel isolating. Seeking professional help is the first step to overcoming and understanding yourself and your situation. As a registered member of the BACP ( British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists), I adhere and work to their ethical framework. Contact me to take the first step in a new direction.

What's in your cup today? Take a break. Reflect on one thing you feel good about, inhale, smile and take it in with full awareness of this thought and celebrate it.Exhale with deliberate force. Now bring something to mind that challenged you, decide if you want to keep it or let it go..is it a piece for learning or just observation? Notice how it feels, and repeat the first step..take a deep breath, smile and breathe it out like a big sigh. Practise this several times a day and you will be amazed at how different you will feel about your day.

Anger, anger! So often not seen for what it is trying to say, or understanding what it needs and is crying out for. The things we feel passionate about are often the triggers for anger. The imbalance of power is a good thing to feel angry about, but how we act on it is about choice and holding the tension of empowering ourselves to protect ourselves, defend ourselves and acknowledging our needs.
