The resident doctors' strike is due to go head from tomorrow (25 July) for 5 days.

If you go to A&E with a minor condition or illness during the strike, you are likely to face a very long wait and may be sent away to an alternative service.

NHS 111 is available 24 hours a day if you or a family member are unwell and need urgent medical help or advice on where to go.

Meanwhile please continue to come forward for the care you need. If your appointment needs to be changed, you will be contacted.

Hertfordshire is helping kids smile brighter!

Hertfordshire is joining the Government’s Supervised Toothbrushing programme for children aged 3–5 in nurseries and primary schools. Starting October 2025, schools in high-need areas will get free training, toothbrushes, toothpaste & more—thanks to a partnership with Hertfordshire Community NHS Trust Dental Team.

🥇 We’re officially GOLD standard… again! 🥇🙌

For the fifth year running, our amazing infant feeding coordinators and public health nurses have been recognised by UNICEF for their outstanding work supporting families with feeding and building close, loving relationships with their babies. 👶💛

We’ve retained our GOLD accreditation in the UNICEF Baby Friendly Initiative (BFI) – the highest possible standard for health visiting and children’s centres. 🌟

This year, UNICEF praised the team’s innovative work and real impact for families.

A huge well done to everyone involved – especially all our breastfeeding champions! 💛👏

✈️If you're planning to travel abroad this summer, please remember to ensure you and your loved ones stay protected with the safe and effective MMR vaccination.💉

It is recommended that children receive the MMR vaccine in two doses – one at around 12 months and the second at around 3 years and four months – but a vaccination delivered later than this offers the same protection. 👷

Find out more: https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/measles/

is still common in many parts of the world. The vaccine protects against it - you need two doses for full protection. Check your vaccination status and catch up and missed doses via your GP. 📱👩‍⚕️
