September is National Recovery Month 🌟
While we celebrate recovery every day of the year, this feels like the perfect moment to share Lynne's inspiring story – a powerful reminder that recovery is possible for everyone.
Her journey shows us that no matter where you are in life, there's always hope for a brighter tomorrow. Recovery looks different for everyone, but the courage to take that first step is universal.

Stigma can stop people from asking for help — especially when it comes to alcohol use during pregnancy. But support is always available, and it’s never too late to reach out.

As part of Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD) Awareness Month, we’re raising awareness of the risks alcohol can pose during pregnancy — and reminding everyone that you won’t be judged for seeking help.

💛 Whether you're pregnant, planning a pregnancy, or supporting someone who is,
you deserve care, not shame.

📢 Reach out for support today — or share this message to help someone else feel seen.

Remember the Big Give in June and how much we raised together for Resolve? (£7056 was the amazing final total). Thank you :)

Well, we are looking to hopefully run Big Give II - The sequel at Christmas but this time the campaign is a little different. This time we need pledges to first unlock and then double funds so if anyone would be able to kindly consider making a pledge of £100 to Resolve's vital work for Big Give II - which wouldn't actually need to be paid until December/January - please do email our Fundraising Manager Gary at gary.sutcliffe@resolve.org.uk. to learn more and chat further. Thank you.
PS: Deadline is 5pm 29th August

🎥 Take a look inside your local drug and alcohol support services
Did you know that up to 75% of people who need help with drugs or alcohol aren’t getting it?
Often, it’s not because they don’t want help — it’s because of stigma, fear, or not realising there’s a problem.
This short video shows what our drug and alcohol service feels like.
👣 Walk through the doors.
