TOMORROW we will be attending our first exhibition of the year – the National Performance Advisory Group Conference being held in Coventry. It will be fantastic to be able to see you again face-to-face after many Conferences had to be held virtually last year - come and visit us on Stand No. 10.

This annual, one-day, Conference will provide delegates with the opportunity to hear from key speakers on a variety of subjects affecting theatres and decontamination science personnel. Ultimately it will contribute to the safety and care of our patients and provide new insights into issues that are being talked about in real-time, today.

Terms and Conditions for Walters Medical Platinum Jubilee Competition

1. The promoter is: Walters Medical Ltd whose registered office is Suite E, 2nd Floor, The Octagon, Middleborough, Colchester, Essex, CO1 1TG.

2. Employees of Walters Medical Ltd. or their family members or anyone else connected in any way with the competition or helping to set up the competition shall not be permitted to enter the competition.

3. There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter this competition.

5. Closing date for entries will be Friday 27th May 2022 at midday, and we'll be announcing the winner on Friday 27th May 2022 by 5pm. After this date, no further entries to the competition will be permitted.

💕 We are making the brilliant, brave, dedicated, caring and self-sacrificing staff our valentine today.

After the incredibly tough 2 years everyone has experienced, we hope our NHS colleagues can show themselves a little extra love today - as they show us love all year round 💙.

Valentine's Day is also a good reminder for us all to look after our hearts - maintaining a healthy heart is the most important thing we can do, whatever our age.

This week, Walters Medical is delighted to announce the availability of the Rudolf Riester GmbH's ri-thermo® sensioPRO+ thermometer on the NHS Supply Chain!

• The ri-thermo® sensioPRO+ is a non-contact, infrared thermometer which reads a forehead temperature calibrated to an oral reference, in 1-2 seconds
• With non-contact thermometry a major consideration in today’s world, the accurate and fast ri-thermo® sensioPRO+ thermometer helps to minimise cross-contamination and maintain distance
• The ri-thermo® sensioPRO+ thermometer can provide a minimum of 3,000 measurements with one set of AA batteries and is available with the option of Bluetooth for connectivity with Riester’s RVS-100 patient monitor and approved health apps. An advantage of the thermometer is that you are able to ensure correct calibration by using Riester’s optional calibration checking device.

⭐️ To kick off the new year, we took a look back over everything we did in 2021, from the exhibitions we attended to the awards we won.

It was action-packed for us, and since we are reaching our second year distributing Atom Incubators, adding Rudolf Riester GmbH and VeinSight to our portfolio of products, we thought a great way to celebrate would be to collate our highlights into a blog post. We've added in a few exciting updates for 2022 as well, including the opening of our brand new Atom Medical training facility in Barnsley.
