Attempting to do a cartwheel on the beach today but it didn’t quite go as envisioned, so I ended up laughing at myself instead.
There was a time when not landing something properly would have felt heavier than it needed to be - with the “need to be perfect” in the background raising an eyebrow at me - now it simply feels like part of being alive and willing to try.
Not every attempt needs to end in mastery to be worth it; sometimes the value is in showing up, giving it a go, and keeping softness in the process.
Lightness makes growth sustainable. It keeps you open, curious, and willing to try again.
