2026 Vascular Surgery ST3 Self‑Assessment

Today I received my certificate for contributing to the
2026 Vascular Surgery ST3 Self‑Assessment Verification Panel with NHS England Recruitment. It was a privilege to review such outstanding portfolios – the level of commitment, research and service from trainees across the UK is phenomenal. What strikes me most is that many truly appointable candidates will not get a post this year, not because they are lacking, but because the number of training slots is so limited. If this is you: your work still counts, your portfolio is strong, and your patients and colleagues already benefit from everything you’ve built.
