Oakwood Wellbeing delivers a range of high quality, client-focused health services that will encourage, support and empower patients to achieve and maintain their fitness goals, whilst supporting the Chilterns Neuro Centre. Oakwood Wellbeing services include physiotherapy, hydrotherapy, exercise referral and acupuncture on a private basis. We specialise in neurological conditions but also treat people after serious accidents or sports injuries, as well as general musculoskeletal problems such as tennis elbow, frozen shoulder or hip and knee problems.

For four decades, people with MS have been reporting the benefits of hyperbaric oxygen therapy at the Chilterns Neuro Centre. Now, through Oakwood Wellbeing, this same service is open to people with sports and musculoskeletal injuries.

Available to hire by qualified instructors, our hydrotherapy pool is perfect for individual sessions or small groups that require a specialist pool to train or for hydrotherapy treatments.

The pool is kept at a constant water temperature of 30°C with a water depth of 1.2m. The pool steps are designed for easy access in and out of the pool.

The pool also has an optional continuous flow, which allows a person to swim for long distances against the flow without requiring a large pool.

Oakwood Wellbeing services include physiotherapy, hydrotherapy, exercise referral and other exercise classes on a private basis. The services are grounded in clinical governance and the emphasis will be on the delivery of care to address disease prevention and enhancement of quality of life.
