Today is my final day with LighterLife. My other (Coaching, Mentoring and Consulting) businesses (of over 30 years) are continuing I have terminated my contract. It has been wonderful and I have had some amazing clients with their successes and achievements. I wish you all well on your own journeys. Safe and happy adventures. “I’d tried every diet, and quit, until now. This time was different. Finally, time to abandon the misery every waking hour of weight so heavy, mentally and physically, there was no escaping it. LighterLife is the best diet I’ve done. Going all in on TotalFast worked for me. I committed to losing the weight. I promised myself to follow the whole plan, to the letter. Doing it my way in the past hadn’t worked!
Finding my personal Mentor Valerie was like finding gold, she’s been brilliant, a huge factor in my success. Valerie helped me prepare for my first week before packs arrived. I ditched carbs, upped water intake, ate more protein. It wasn’t too difficult, though my mind told me I was hungry as I moved from conventional food. Yet I felt so well, so much more energy – and loved the chocolate mug cake and the bars! I’ve always opted out of diet groups, but LighterLife is so different. Not a fan of online but the Zoom meetings are really good! They keep me on track, and my fellow LighterLifers are a fantastic support too.
I love the weekly CBT Mindfulness sessions with Valerie. They taught me so much! I’ve learned about myself and how to change my beliefs. Weekly topics are interesting and varied and gave me confidence as well as a “toolbox” of techniques to help me through difficult times. A powerful Formula I learned helps me make better choices by having a response not a reaction to situations. I learned I’m not alone in my crooked thinking, and I’d set myself up for failing so many times in the past. I’m a stress eater but learned ‘comfort food’ makes me feel very uncomfortable. Having experienced a lot of stress while on TotalFast I realised I don’t need to eat to manage stress, that I can choose to override this bad habit and have a positive outcome instead. Finally, I’ve learned self-care. Taking time for me isn’t selfish. It’s a priority, not an afterthought.
I lost 4st 6lbs in 5 months. My wardrobe now reflects the real me. Fitted clothes show off my new shape. I like shopping my new size 10 labels. Now I run, walk faster and further, including uphill, without breathlessness! Daily, things are much easier. Getting dressed. Putting shoes on. Getting up and down. Doing things impossible when I felt too heavy to hold my own body weight. I hadn’t realised how disabling my weight was. It stopped me doing so many things. Now I have no excuses!

In ‘Men in Black’ films the agent tells recruits, “This is the last suit you will ever wear.” Valerie tells her LighterLife Clients, “This is the last diet I want you to do” having successfully helped yo-yo dieters and comfort eaters break through after 20-30 years trying to achieve their weight loss goal. Losing weight isn’t just about food. Learn and develop long term mindset changes, thinking, behaviour, habits. I’m a different person. Food isn’t the answer. Easy to turn to. Feels worse after “treating ourselves.” Planning is essential for maintaining a balanced life. Plan, prepare, and put into practice forms healthy and sustainable habits"

Celebrating Clients! Congratulations! Alannah. You did it!

Alannah lost 6 stone. She said: “It’s been life changing! The fat sibling, the fat friend all my life, then Lockdown hit. I piled weight on, became the biggest I’d ever been. I’ve yo-yoed on about every diet there is! LighterLife promised a stone a month on Total Plan, no calorie counting or thinking and planning meals, weighing foods - plus online sessions and support from a mentor.

I wanted the thought of food out of the equation, with actual results, quickly. The hardest thing about trying to lose weight is the time it takes.

Having my Mentor Valerie Dwyer check in with me every week was so important, a god send. On difficult weeks Valerie was there with motivation to keep me on track!! I learned that I am an emotional/stress eater. Because of Lighterlife I now manage myself better. Check out Zoe's fabulous Chocolate Mug Cake bubble waffles. Simply add a little extra water so your mixture flows into your waffle iron, and cook for about 90 seconds, depending on crunchy you like your "eggs."

😋 Garlic Flatbread for the bun (make up as a mug cake)
😋 Shepherd’s Pie or Spaghetti Bolognaise with water to mould into a patty
