🎃 Spooktacular Trip! 💫

This week, our residents enjoyed a spooktacular outing to the local supermarket to shop for pumpkins 🎃 — ready for some creative Halloween arts and crafts! 👻

There were plenty of smiles as we strolled through the aisles, shared laughs, and tried on some fun Halloween headwear. 🧙‍♀️🕸️

To top off our little adventure, we swung by the McDonald’s drive-thru for a well-deserved treat and a refreshing drink. 🩵✨

A Heartwarming Visit from the Dean Row Guides 🩷

Our residents at Wilmslow Manor were absolutely delighted to welcome the wonderful Dean Row Guides for a very special visit this week! 🌸

The girls proudly showed their badges and neckerchiefs, sharing the stories behind each one — and to make the evening even more memorable, they gifted every resident a handmade paracord buddy! 🧵💫

Recently, our residents at Grappenhall Manor Care Centre in Warrington had a special treat as Al toured the first floor with his guitar, filling the air with familiar tunes and sing-along favourites. 🎵💛

For those who spend a little more time in their rooms, Al’s visit brought a warm and uplifting atmosphere, with one resident sharing, “It’s really made my day that he came to see me.” It’s moments like these that remind us how powerful music can be in enhancing wellbeing and creating connections.

🎀 Ashlands Manor Hosts Successful "Wear it Pink" Fundraiser 🎀

At New Care, we are proud to support causes that make a real difference. This past Sunday, Ashlands Manor Care Centre in Greater Manchester held a "Wear it Pink" fundraiser in aid of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and it was a huge success! 💖

Residents, families, staff, and friends all came together for an afternoon filled with fun, raffles, live music, and plenty of pink! 🌸 Through everyone's incredible generosity, we raised over £550, surpassing last year’s total and helping to support the fight against breast cancer.
Thank you to everyone who participated and made this event so special. Your support is making a real impact! 🩷

This week, Chappie, our wonderful therapy dog, has been bringing comfort, calm, and countless smiles to everyone he meets. 💫

This morning, some of our lovely residents from The Grand Care Centre took a trip out to Keyworth to join a fantastic local community group – The Joyful Dance 💛

Set to uplifting, feel-good music, this gentle movement session had everyone smiling, swaying, and enjoying the moment. It was a wonderful way to stay active, socialise, and boost our wellbeing — all while having fun in a welcoming community setting 💃🕺🎵

At The Grand Care Centre in Nottingham, every birthday is a cherished occasion — and today, we had the honour of celebrating something truly special!

🎉 Happy 99th Birthday to our lovely resident, Irene! 🎉

Our talented chef whipped up a beautiful custom cake just for her, and the room was filled with joy, laughter, and heartfelt moments. Irene’s reaction to her “99” birthday poster was priceless — speechless at first, then bursting into laughter saying, “I still feel 35!” 💬💕
