❗️Master the basics, then layer the challenge.

✅ Lunge progressions train stability, force absorption and power through the whole lower limb - exactly what carries over and translates to sport. It is a foundational movement that carries a plethora of whole-body benefits. This is a great visual explainer from demonstrating some lunge professions that progressively build control.

🦶 Our clinic is equipped with the industry-leading Footscan platform from - one of the most researched and validated pressure-measurement systems in the world. Used in 3,000+ scientific studies and trusted across elite sport, it gives us unrivalled insight into foot biomechanics, loading patterns and gait mechanics.

📊 This depth of data lets us diagnose movement issues with real precision - and when orthotic support is required, we design fully customised Phits 3D-printed orthotics, engineered directly from your scan.

✅ Footscan is just one of the advanced tools we use at Fit2Go to ensure accurate diagnosis and individually tailored rehabilitation. It has helped us identify and treat everything from subtle over-pronation and forefoot overload to plantar fasciitis, high-arch mechanics and Achilles-related issues - the patterns that often go unnoticed until they cause long-term problems.

Evidence-led assessment. Personalised treatment. Better outcomes.

James is one of the region’s leading injection specialists, routinely managing complex musculoskeletal conditions using advanced image-guided techniques. It’s one of the many tools he uses to treat persistent and chronic pain.

📹 In this clip, James injects the subacromial bursa to treat bursitis using a corticosteroid. The bursa sits in a narrow, sensitive space beneath the acromion - a location where accurate needle placement is critical, and where James’ experience make all the difference.

Reposting this brilliant breakdown from 👇

They outline three essential priorities after an acute ankle sprain:
1️⃣ Minimise swelling
2️⃣ Restore early ankle function
3️⃣ Normalise walking mechanics

At Fit2Go, our experienced physios work with athletes across football, rugby, running and court sports - and the biggest setback we see isn’t the sprain itself, but the guesswork that follows it.

A proper recovery isn’t about resting and hoping.
It’s about clarity.
➡️ Testing what’s actually limited
➡️ Diagnosing the structures involved
➡️ Targeted treatment to settle symptoms
➡️ Progressive loading to rebuild strength, balance and confidence
➡️ And objective return-to-play criteria to track progress

If you’ve rolled your ankle and it’s still swollen, painful or feels unstable, we can run a full assessment and create a structured plan to get you back to sport safely.

👋🏼 Say hello to Maya Wigley - the newest powerhouse in our Fit2Go clinical team.

Patients trust Maya because she does the fundamentals better than most: she listens, she analyses, and she builds rehab plans that are tailored and genuinely transformative. Her background in both NHS and private MSK settings means she brings a level of breadth and refinement that’s immediately apparent in her assessments.

Her vast clinical toolkit includes manual therapy, shockwave, APPI Pilates, acupuncture and exercise rehabilitation - but her real strength is how she integrates them to solve pain at its source. Notably, Maya is a Level 2 Fitness Instructor, allowing her to bridge clinical rehabilitation with performance-focused conditioning.

Her special interests include:
• Pelvic health
• Tendon injuries
• Post-trauma and post-surgical rehab
• Guiding people back to high-level sport seamlessly and with confidence

Maya’s work ethic is defined by quiet precision and unwavering standards. Her patients often comment on how deeply she listens - and how quickly that translates into meaningful results.

Maya strengthens our team in every sense, and we’re delighted to bring her expertise to Fit2Go.

👋🏼 Meet Charlie Morris - Senior Physiotherapist

With over 26 years of clinical experience - across the RAF, Nuffield Health, the NHS and private practice - Charlie brings an exceptional level of skill and precision to every patient she treats.

She holds an MSc in Neuromusculoskeletal Physiotherapy and is a member of the MACP - a distinction held by fewer than two percent of UK physiotherapists, recognising advanced expertise in musculoskeletal assessment and treatment.

Her approach blends science and intuition; combining advanced manual therapy, acupuncture, and Pilates-based rehabilitation to restore strength and relieve pain – as well as rebuild confidence after injury.

Charlie’s background is as diverse as it is impressive. From supporting elite personnel during her six years with RAF Cottesmore, to leading rehabilitation programmes in both private and public sectors, she’s become a trusted physiotherapist for those seeking evidence-based results without compromise.

A former horse rider, Charlie has a deep understanding of posture, balance and the physical demands placed on the body - both in sport and daily life. Her sessions are grounded in detailed assessment and tailored progression – helping every patient move and live at their best.
