One of these scans looks “normal”.
The other shows a disc herniation.
The painful back?
👉 Normal on scan.
The pain-free back?
👉 Disc herniation.
A scan shows what tissue looks like in one position, at one moment in time. It doesn’t show what happens when you load, move, fatigue, or repeat tasks.
That’s why scans can be misleading - they often correlate poorly with pain.
At Fit2Go, scans are just one part of the picture. We use multiple assessment and treatment approaches to understand how someone is functioning as a whole - and build a plan around that individual, not the image.
Pain is multifactorial and personal.
It rarely lives in a single structure or a single scan.
