A vote to scrap a high court judge to sign off applications in assisted dying bill has been favoured and suggested that a panel consisting of a senior lead figure, phychatrist, and a social worker to review applications instead.

Activists suggest replacing judges with a three-person panel featuring a senior legal figure.

There have been further burglaries reported across Clifton, Wilford and Silverdale this week with offenders targeting keysafes.

Please continue to be vigilant and locate keysafes out of view if possible. We would encourage you to report any suspicious behaviour to Nottinghamshire police, particularly if you have CCTV or doorbell footage of suspicious individuals.

NHS has revealed last month over 420,000 patients who were medically fit to be discharged remained in hospital. Which has shown a 15% increase since the month prior.

Due to lack of funding and staff shortage, elderly people are being left in hospital waiting for care packages to be put in place.

The NHS ‘front door’ will remain in a state of emergency until action is taken to tackle discharge delays, the RCP has warned today.
